The room is very bare bones. Beds are coiled and not super comfortable for me. The rooms were priced quite high for what they were.

* Excellent location – easy to find and just a short walk from the port. * Good-sized room with plenty of space. * Surprisingly quiet at night despite being on the ground floor. * Spacious bathroom. * Comfortable bed with extra pillows, which was a nice touch. The staff (with the exception of the older gentleman, who was excellent) made very little effort to go above and beyond after my flight was cancelled, causing me to miss two nights of my stay. When I asked to extend my stay by an extra night, I was initially quoted the standard rate. The staff later decided to offer me a discounted rate, but unfortunately no one informed me until it was too late and I had already checked out and booked somewhere else. A more attentive level of service would have been to proactively follow up once the decision had been made, rather than leaving me to chase the information. Secondly, my booking was advertised as including breakfast, yet I was denied breakfast during my stay. Given that I had already lost two prepaid nights due to circumstances beyond my control, allowing breakfast would have been a thoughtful gesture of goodwill and would have reflected a more guest-focused approach to hospitality. Overall, while the property itself was pleasant, I left feeling that the customer service lacked flexibility, attentiveness, and the willingness to make guests feel genuinely valued.

The hotel is very centrally located in Favignana near the square and the port and is, in short, basic. What stands out is their fantastic breakfast. We think it was a bit sneaky of the porter not to give us a little longer for check-out, citing that the cleaning staff had a tight schedule even though the hotel was not full.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Il Porticcio. The cleanliness of the hotel was truly impressive — everything was spotless and well-maintained throughout my visit. It’s clear the staff puts a lot of care into keeping the space tidy and welcoming. Everything functioned as expected and the experience overall was smooth and comfortable. From check-in to check-out, everything went perfectly fine — no issues at all. The only small downside was that the hotel itself feels a bit dated. While this didn’t impact comfort or functionality, some parts of the decor and facilities could use a refresh. However, this didn’t detract much from the quality of my stay. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a clean, no-fuss place to stay in Favignana. I’d recommend it, especially for travelers who value tidiness and convenience over modern aesthetics.

Staff were excellent and made our stay most enjoyable. A kettle in the room or coffee available onsite would have been great.

Everything! When we arrived, reception gave us a detailed guide of the area and highlighted things on the map, which was very helpful. Lovely bedroom, really comfortable bed , so clean and lovely bed linen. Fridge in the room and free sky movies ( in English) Room and hotel smelt really nice. Amazing fresh breakfast served in a lovely cool ,shady garden patio area, constantly cleaned and toped up. Juice, coffee , a selection of fresh sicilian cakes , fresh fruit, pancakes, pistachio/ chocolate croissants , yoghurt, and granola to name just some on offer! We used the third floor sun terrace a few times over our stay( we were the only ones each time) a lovely space to sunbath after sightseeing the island. On Sunday, when we arrived, we lay in the sun and listened to the people singing in the church, so beautiful. It's a few minutes'walk from the port , where you arrive on the ferry and even closer to the shops and restaurants. But you don't hear any noise, at night it is so quiet . The bus stop for the buses that takes you all around the island if you choose not to bike or scooter is also 5/6 mins walk away. The bus driver told us to visit villa margarita and the impossible gardens. Wow ! I definitely recommend it so beautiful and peaceful. It is not open all day, so check the times. Very convenient location. 5min walk from the port and next to the main plaza and town center! The staffs are quite helpful with good introduction of the main attractions on the island. Shower is good. The breakfast is ok. There is a lift. Nothing

Beautiful and nice small hotel in the centre of Favignana with very pleasant and helpful staff -

Great location, not sight wise, but very close to port and to main squares. There was place for bicycle parking. Super small shower, for toilet use shower doors should be opened - otherwise legs might hit shower doors. Complimentary water bottle were open, only one glass in wc (with empty package from other inside it), minibar didn't cool. Pictures showed lot of fruits for breakfast, but in reality fruit choice was very limited same, there were good choice of bakery-cake products.

Gorgeous breakfast, great location for one night - close to the port so convenient and great for exploring restaurants, but lovely and quiet.

The staff was incredibly kind. Since I arrived before 10 a.m., I intended to leave my bags, but they not only offered breakfast but also prepared the room for me! It was a great relief to use the room early. They provided detailed information about the island, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!

Super friendly staff, in the middle of everything but very quiet

The shower was ok The room was much smaller than I thought it would be…but the big thing is there was no A/C and when I inquired about it I was told it was working fine…give me a break!the way the breakfast was set up was idiotic…everything was jammed onto a tiny table…why not spread it out a bit? Take out the unused table and move another table for the breakfast?the simplest answer is usually the correct one…they hovered over you while you were eating as if to act like you were imposing on them…stayed there only 2 days…couldn’t leave fast enough…at exactly 10am we were called to remind us about check out…lots more I could say but that is enough

Very good location, few steps from town square but peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was a great choice of fresh pastries, eggs, yogurts, juices and the best coffee.

Wonderful breakfast choices of sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, all kinds of pastries, and sweet breads, yogurt, fresh fruit cut up. All types of coffee, tea, juices.
