We just tried to sleep there We arrive in time (9.25pm) after full day of driving, owner wants his €€€ here and now, otherwise we can't stay. No trust we would pay the morning after, altough he has our booking via booking.com, our number plate, .. Was mentioned nowhere we must pay upon arrival! 40 minutes drive to get his €€€ and he then he complains we are late!! Dead place, everything is 30+ years old and in bad shape. Ants walking around the swimming pool, terrace crumbles apart, animal poop all around the place, puzzling for space in the house. Airco doesn't help for first floor and is shut down during day by the owner by doing power cut. We left every day around 10am and came back around midnight, so no way to keep the house below the configured 28 degrees to be able to sleep upstairs. Upon leaving, we kindly waited to say goodbye. Then... Mr owner saw "the most dirty house he has ever seen". Asked €€€ to clean. We refused, it took us 10 minutes to clean "the most dirty house he has ever seen"!! He even agressiely started taking pictures of our collected dust. Then those pitiful attempts to make us feel guilty about it: "thank you sir, a big thank you". We just left the house in a orderly state thinking the end cleaning was done by the property, but owner immediately accused us of trying to escape our duty, impossible we were honestly mistaken about that. We even never cooked! So was just some dust from the garden. Moreover, we cleaned every day the poop of the ducks on our terrace, with NO complaints from our side!! Then having to listen about the traces of water on the sink, ridiculous. Btw, make sure to use his kitchen towels. If you use your own, he notices that his ones are not used and accuses you of not housekeeping. Also, don't be kind and leave 1 clean package of butter behind for the next client. This guy has zero trust in his clients and clearly also not in personel (which he doens't have).
