Schäfle Feldkirch-Altenstadt

this was the worst experience I had for a long time. we especially booked this hotel becasue we filtered in our search only hotels with ai conditioning. this hotel showed it has A/C, and a restaurant. so we booked it. upon arrival the room was not ready, the owner then got us a room went with me to show it to me and when she opened it there was someone in it !! so she gave me a different room but it wasn't ready so we had to wait. It turned out that the restaurant was closed on not open that day at all. When we finally got the room it was very hot but there was no thermostat in the room so i went and ask. The owner told me that their rooms do NOT have airconditioning and only have some kind floor cooling that is set at a temperature and can not be changed. What a lie. The room was way to hot. My family could not sleep all night. They lied on booking do com. What a horrible experience. adveretised on booking.com they have air conditioned room but it is not true. the air is not conditioned the have some kind of inefficient floor cooling and you can't even change the temperature.

Our room was very comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a beautiful dinner in the restaurant area in the court yard. A gorgeous sunny evening and great food. The seasonal Asparagus Risotto was delicious! We thoroughly our stay.

Very professional, efficient and friendly staff. New, comfortable and clean rooms Everything was excellent Only improvement I could propose is to install AirConditioning in some / all rooms to offer additional option to adjust room temperature in summer time.

Loved the newly renovated rooms and the front staff. No view, at outskirts of town.

Nice breakfast in an authentic and decorated room. We enjoyed the welcome at check-in, the nearby parking facilities and the room warmth.

Room spacious to accommodate family of 5 and very clean. Good location close to Lichtenstein and Switzerland border. Staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast was wonderful

We loved the bunk beds in the family room. It was a bit loud when the windows were open early in the morning. But fine with windows closed.

The Schäfle is well managed hotel with an excellent restaurant with a really good 4-course daily menu, as well as a-la-carte choices at sensible prices. Also a good wine list! Ample parking, great rooms (including single rooms) which was perfect for our group of four. We were looking forward to see the robot-waiter in operation, but it wasn't required on this evening.

The hotel room was clean, spacious and neat. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that everthing was perfectly tailored to our needs.

Nice oldschool building, easily to be reached from the street. Furniture in the rooms is a bit old. Not "antique old", more like "we bought in the 80s and never changed it" old.

Highly recommended for the comfortable room, gracious and attentive staff, and lovely biergarten out the back.. wish we had stayed longer and would stay again in a heartbeat. Nothing
