The staff are amazing, the location is second to none, Nothing it was all good

The room that Booking.com encouraged us to upgrade to was not available when we arrived but Simona patiently spent over an hour showing us alternative rooms. After a couple of days, Hotel Royal provided us with the suite that we had originally booked as soon as it was available. The suite was remarkable; the view was amazing. Jacuzzi tub & shower worked well...always a pleasant surprise!! The breakfast had a wide variety of fruits, pastries and beverages.When I experienced an unexpected minor medical emergency, the staff were extremely helpful and sincerely caring about my well being. Overall, the Hotel Royal was a wonderful experience . We had actually phoned the staff at Hotel Royal, a couple of days before our arrival, to confirm that we had booked a room with a bathtub yet, when we arrived, were initially given a room with no tub. Also, Booking.com sent an email encouraging us to upgrade to a suite. We upgraded but the suite was not available when we arrived. Next time, we'll book directly with Hotel Royal. Please note that the hotel's staff were very patient and kind in resolving these booking discrepancies.

Exceptional staff, especially Simone and Valentina on reception. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean, room spacious and well thought out. One of our party had a medical issue to which the whole staff responded to in very supportive way. A well run hotel. The only suggestion we would make is for the provision of tea/coffee making facility in room.

The breakfast was excellent, there was a lot of variety and the hotel was near the beach which was convenient. The staff were amazing and friendly, we arrived at the hotel really late due to flight cancellations but they made our stay very comfortable. The hotel was clean and facilities were good. Everything was excellent, no complaints.

The hotel was well located, an attractive building, the up grade to a bigger room with a sea view was appreciated, the meals exceptional & the staff one couldn't fault. Overall a highlight of our tour. Nothing except perhaps the high speed train passing through now & then. But nothing could be done about that!

We arrived _very_ early but the hotel staff were happy to accommodate us. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We have stayed here before as we have relatives in the area, so we knew it would be clean and tidy and we knew we would have a great view of the beach. The breakfasts were excellent with good scrambled eggs and bacon plus a huge array of pastries and copious amounts of juice and coffee. We went to the restaurant a couple of times and it was also very good indeed - a nice combination of formal service with a very airy and relaxed setting - it was almost exclusively seafood, so if you want a steak or a pizza, you will need to walk a block or two.

Easy to book sun beds on the beach. Closeness to the sea. Friendly staff who were always helpful. Breakfasts could be better. The endless supply of cakes was fine for those who wanted them. That said I am British and I appreciate that other nations will think differently. This comment should not be regarded as a criticism.

Right on the beach, nice bar and very nice restaurant. Bike and walking path next to hotel. Parking out front and very helpful reception staff. Nothing.
