Amelia Hotel at the Beach

The plus ,location right in front of the beach and staff very helpful and friendly, the bad.... so many things, outdated facility, not very clean, flooded sink, low pressure shower, really not what we were expecting.

The location is great there was an awesome restaurant right across the street and the beach. The room was clean, I have no complaints. I did look at the continental breakfast however we decided not to eat because we had to leave. It looked fine

This place is way overpriced for the condition the hotel is in. Breakfast is your typical microwave slop. Room we stayed in was terribly ran down. Water was puddled on window seal from leaking window. Rooms are not acoustic safe, you can hear people walking down hall even with TV cranked up. It's not oceanfront property. I'd maybe stay again if it were half the price. Place isn't worth 200 per night

The floor in the room could have been cleaned better. We moved a chair and there was sand and a small tennis ball under it which wasn't ours. Also, we had to move the microwave in order to use it. There was a hole in the counter which I'm assuming was for the microwave but we would have had to move the fridge to plug it in so it was easier to move the microwave but still aggravating. The pillows were very flat. I think they need to invest in better quality pillows. The gentlemen that checked us in was very script. No extra conversation what so ever. We didn't feel welcomed and there was no one waiting behind us so no need to rush. The young lady on the afternoon shift didn't greet us at all as we walked past her to walk to the beach. None of the other staff spoke English so when trying to communicate by asking a question, it was difficult.

Hotel is older and needs to be updated. Not what it appears for price. Across the street from beach is a plus.

This is a great hotel for the price. While not the most modern, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great. Had a couple good restaurants and bars right there. The free breakfast was probably the best I have ever had at a hotel.

Our room was clean, and the staff was wonderful. Jamie and Sy were extremely helpful and accommodating. Thank you.

My rooom was very clean, there are a couple of aging features but everything worked. The staff is outstanding! I asked for extra amenities and they delivered not just once but twice! They make sure you are pleased. There was a lot of choices for breakfast.

We have always enjoyed staying here but this time the room needed some maintenance, plus they now charge to park your vehicle at the hotel. The location is close to beach which is nice.

Staff was excellent and very helpful. Continental breakfast changed up every day and that was nice. Room was very nice and clean, although there was a smell of smoke.

Fantastic location. Quick walk across the street to the beach. Multiple life guard stations and beautiful beaches. Hotel pool was really nice and great way to cool down after the beach. Hotel itself was a bit dated but still overall nice and clean. It felt more historic rather than “old”. I would definitely stay again.

…it was ok. The a/c worked well. The breakfast was good. And the front desk staff was very helpful.
