The view the staff in the breakfast every morning was amazing. Not much not to like. We loved it!

The view, property and setting are enough reasons to give Akanã the highest rating. But it was the staff who made us feel so at home that really made it into an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended! Nothing - it was great.

Breakfast was varied and delicious. The room was comfortable and the views were great. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Not a whole lot to dislike! :-)

The attention, friendlyness and efficiency of the staff was exceptional Breakfast was delicious Swimming pool and area around the pool was lovely The view of the ocean from every angle of the property was magnific

Amazing. Pousada Ecológica Akanã is incredible. The views from everywhere are stunning, the rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped. We had amazing views from everywhere in the room (and bathroom!). The breakfast and restaurant dishes are delicious. The hosts are polite, professional, kind and very helpful in every way. The place has a special quietness to it, a silence, a home feeling. The design is sophisticated and inspiring but very inviting and never arrogant. It has a simplicity to it that in my opinion is hard to find. Akanã is unique and hip just naturally, and the same can be said for the entire team, from the driver, Levy, to the hosts, Carol, Vivi and Duda. We travelled with our two adult sons and they loved our experience as much as we did.

Amazing staff, clean and comfortable. The view is amazing Need to improve landscape and it gave a litte discomfort about visual polution to the island as you can see the property from the ocean

The property was beautiful and the staff was amazing. Every single person was so kind throughout the entire pousada. They thought of every detail in this place. When it rained there was an umbrella in the rooms. They created a WhatsApp group for any questions or help during the stay. Breakfast was delicious. They also helped us with organizing excursions. We didn’t have to look up a thing. 10/10 recommend best stay ever. Nothing.

It was simply the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in our lives. The location, the food, the staff, the rooms, the amenities. We were above clouds :) special thanks to Eli and Caro!!

The pictures don't make it justice. This is THE BEST VIEW in the whole of the island. 3 times, when doing tours, the guides would point up (from the beach/ sea) and say "that inn on the top of the hill is the most exclusive view you can get, with a price tag to match". You literally wake up to a postcard, no other buildings on sight. Just the mountain, the beach and the sea. As for everything else: Staff is 11/10. Very attentive from beginning to end. Included breakfast again 11/10. Good quality, great selection. We actually ordered some additional stuff from the kitchen during breakfast and we're surprised when we looked at the bill and it wasn't an extra. The room is 10/10, spacious and comfortable, nice bathroom. They even left little sweets for us at our first and last night. The pool, again, has the best view you will ever lounge to. The hotel thoroughly exceeded expectations. I couldn't think of a single problem with my stay, not even if I tried very hard. This is the perfect place. I'm not kidding.
