Pousada Júlio Grande

The location was excellent and close to restaurants, transit and some beaches. The pousada’s courtyard was charming and comfortable to lounge or enjoy the amazing breakfasts and baking. The staff were delightful - thank you, Grace and Gabbi!! And the rooms were comfortable, clean, and attractive. The road access immediately outside the entrance to the property was rough and challenging. Taxi’s barely managed it and someone with mobility challenges would likely not manage to walk from the pousada into town. The rooms were a bit tight on space.

The place is very charming, a piece of paradise in the middle of the Vila, the room was spacious, with lots of privacy and with a breakfast menu with lots of options. Grace, Mateus and the rest of the team are very friendly and are there to help and serve in the most Brazilian way, feeling like home. Grace is awesome, be ready for great stories about the island and her life, such a special human being.

Grace is an amazing owner and makes you feel right at home. Moreover, the breakfast is fantastic. When we come back, we will stay here again! It made our trip exceptional.

The breakfast was amazing. Probably the best breakfast I’ve had while traveling. The location was really great, very central to beaches and the downtown area, yet secluded enough to be quiet. The staff were super friendly, the rooms very comfortable and very clean. The added bonus was the desserts that were always in the dining room waiting for us on return. There’s not much to complain about honestly. At night there is a bar a long way away that you can hear some echos from, but not too bothersome unless you’re very picky.

The staff members are incredibly kind and attentive. Grace, the manager, goes above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. The breakfast is outstanding, with Matheus, the chef, crafting delicious meals and pastries every day. The internet connection was great. The location is ideal—Vila dos Remédios is charming, with great restaurants and just a short walk from the beach.

We loved everything about this property! The room and rest of the hotel were wonderful, very clean and updated and beautiful gardens. the breakfast was outstanding with a buffet as well as delicious fresh juices. Grace and the rest of the staff were amazing, so kind and helpful, even assisted with tours and activities! We can’t wait to come back! the location is amazing, very close (walking distance) to a lovely beach, restaurants, and shops!

We loved the staff, Grace was so helpful. They couldn't do enough for us. We felt very well looked after. There wasn't much not to like on such a beautiful island, but walking back to the pousada at night on the cobblestones was quite difficult.

Excellent, helpful, and genuine staff. I felt right at home. The location is right in the historic “vila,” and is 2 minutes walk to one of the beaches and also very well located for access to the fort. It is very close in proximity to the Noronha nightlife — which can be ideal for some, but might bother a very light sleeper.

Great location, close to beach, all restaurants, center... Very clean! In nature, but no mosquitoes or ants or any other bugs in room. Breakfast is delicious and staff like a family. Great stay, would highly recommend.

staff was very kind trying to help us with everything we needed room was very dirty. during the breakfast, the food was full of flies. I tried the cereal and the bread but everything was old and not good. The staff did not speak a word of english

the warmth of Grace, Robson, and everyone working there :) thank you for making our trip an unforgettable one. some days there is live music at the bar close by and it’s noisy.
