Very beautifull and clean. My room had almost no window and the shower was very weak.

Atalaia's Staff were amazing. The manager was always available for answering and the room was always clean. The crew in charge of Breakfast was exceptional. What amazing breakfast. Great variety and amazing food. Everything was delicious. Atalaia also has a very good internet connection because uses Starlink. In terms of location, it was awesome too. Close to Vila dos Remédios, Cachorro's Beach, Praia do Meio and Conceição's Beach. Also very close to the hottest restaurants on the island. There was a small problem in the room. As we were traveling during the rainy season, when the wind blows (and it is raining) a small amount of water enters the room through a small crack in the window. Furthermore, the Queen bed was actually two single beds joined together by sheets. In a few moments they separated and a hole opened in the middle.

Everything. Since the time of booking they were kind and flexible because I had to do some changes. The room was super nice. Very confortable. Breakfast is plenty and staff helpful and cooperative.

Quite simple but comfortable place. Good beds, AC working greatly. Rooms cleaned everyday. It doesn't have any kind of leisure available in the property, but it's very close to downtown and easy to get to almost every beach. Great staff and breakfast.

Incredible staff! Manager always available, breakfast excellent and fresh. Beautiful new decor! It was a budgrt room so it was smaller than I am accustomed to, but great price for the great staff and clean facilities!

The breakfast is filled with fruits, different kind of breads, cheese, jams, pastrys, tapioca and eggs, different kind of cakes every day. Always with nice music and the kindness of the ladies that make tapioca and eggs right there when asked. So nice!! The staff is great, very helpful, very cleaned. They serve cake, coffee and tea during the day also. Its a pleasure arrive from the day trips and have a treat like that. Such a great pousada, and very close to the center. I love it!

Room and bathroom was modern and very clean. the bed was very comfortable. The staff was really kind and helped us with many useful tips!

The pousada is pretty basic but there's everything you need. The staff at the reception is nice, helpful and speaks english. The breakfast was rich. Location is convenient as you can walk to the center. No view from the room (just a wall) and the water in the shower was not very warm.

the owner was really friendly and helped us with a lot of things. it was nice to chat with him and his English was perfect. they had coffee (or tea) and cake (and some cookies) in the afternoon for free which was awesome. the bed was the best and most comfortable bed we had while travelling for four weeks. everyone got two pillows to choose from which was awesome. I would choose the same accommodation next time. the only rubbish bin in the room was in the bathroom. when we left rubbish (empty bottles with we folded already) clearly to remove they didn’t take it when cleaning the room (except for one day). at breakfast you have to ask for juice and tapioca and scrambled eggs which could be sometimes a bit difficult if you don’t speak Portuguese (I had wished the would have offered the available dishes and juices actively).

Good location, walking distance from the center. Very good breakfast.
