Good location and breakfast was nice Bathroom was dingy. The place needs a make over. However for the price I paid it was value for money
-
The place is hidden among small pedestrian streets, and the GPS was not working properly, so it was difficult to find. Be aware that some locals may offer to help you locate the address and then expect a tip afterwards.
-
Also they gave us a brief introduction about Medina and it helped us a lot to stroll around the city! Nothing

Reasonably well located. Nice terrace. Hard to find the staff much of the time. And the front door was never locked or watched over. Breakfast was included but we never ate it as the first day there was no one to be found to get breakfast, even by 9am. And the next day 9 am seemed like a late start to breakfast.

Staff was very friendly and positive. Special thanks to Waffa for her thoughtfulness and willingness to help. It's a beautiful "dar" and not a proper "riad" so the building is very vertical with steep stairs. Ok for us but not for someone with knee problem. Just you know.

We loved the staff and rooftop restaurant. The roof was such a lovely space to spend hours. Honestly the best place to relax in Fez. The staff recommended the perfect reasonably priced guide for us.

Our stay was just amazing. We greeted with an amazing breakfast in the mornings and the owner was always so friendly. We can only recommend here!

The manager was very helpful and nice. Thank you

Wafa was incredibly welcoming and kind and helped me in all kinds of ways. She felt like a personal friend and she alone was enough to make my stay very special. The rest of the staff was also very kind and helpful. The rooftop terrace has terrific views of the medina and surrounding hills. Breakfast was great, as they totally catered to my vegan needs: my breakfast had three different kinds of fresh fruit, pancake, polenta cake, olives, bread, jam and honey. Although the rooms were a good size, the bathrooms are so tiny that I accidentally hit the shower handle and got a cold wake-up. If you take shower in this tiny bathroom, the entire bathroom is thoroughly wet.

Super quiet, always cool inside, like a palace, made me feel very home.

Wafa is very hospitable and sweet, she helped us figure out all the things we could do around the city. The Riad is beautiful and its in a great location in the medina, with a fantastic and well priced restaurant right next to it. Not even a 5 minute walk from the tannery, and with a parking located not even 5 minutes away where you can be picked up by taxis or tour guides . The hostel is very clean, the breakfast is extraordinary and overall we had an incredible exeprience!

Our stay at Riad El Blida was truly magical. Nestled in the heart of the Fez medina, this beautifully restored riad is a peaceful haven with authentic charm. Our room was immaculate, styled in the spirit of Chefchaouen, and spotlessly clean. It offered a serene view into the riad’s inner courtyard, adding to the sense of tranquility. The welcome was warm and seamless — we were personally guided into the riad, which made arriving in the maze of the medina feel easy and safe. Upon arrival, we were warmly received by Ouafa, who not only made us feel right at home but also took the time to show us around the city in a way only a local could. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast served on the riad’s stunning rooftop terrace, with breathtaking views over the Medina — the perfect start to each day. If you’re looking to experience the real Fez — its soul, culture, and hospitality — Riad El Blida is an absolute must. From the stunning ambiance to the heartfelt service, every moment felt authentic and unforgettable. Highly recommended.
-
A wonderful riad in the heart of Fez Medina, just a 5-minute walk from the taxi drop-off point. The building is very traditional. The shower had plenty of hot water, and the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful— they even picked us up at the taxi spot late at night to help with our arrival. The breakfast was delicious and abundant, offering a great start to the day. Overall, excellent value for money. Highly recommended! The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, and many of the power outlets were not functioning. Additionally, there are several narrow and steep staircases, which wasn’t an issue for us, but it could be challenging for some guests.

Everything about the property was great. Miss Wafa's hospitalité was top notch. We wish we could have stayed for longer. All the staff treated us like family. We really miss the Riad already. Hope to visit soon. Breakfast was excellent and variété of choices available.

Very nice house, Clean, in the middle of Fes, good communication and service. Coffee was not good

I personally loved the staff! They were amazing Wafa and Zaccaria took care of us from the moment we arrived until we left. They were super professional and made us feel at home. I will definitely recommend this riad to my friends hoping to find the same people to take care of them. Shukran Wafa and Zaccaria! The riad needs slight renovation (some adjustments in the rooms).

Very welcoming and helpful staffs especially Wafae. Close to Zawiya Tijaniya - 5 mins walk. Stairs are steep but manageable. Not for the elderly though.
