Villa Ilios

I absolutely loved my stay at Villa Illios. The villa was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. My room was comfortable, with a cozy bed, spotless facilities, and a lovely little balcony that I really enjoyed. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room nice and cool, which was especially appreciated on warm days. Although I didn't use the pool much because I was out exploring most of the time, it was great to have it available as an option. One of my favorite things about the villa was the many cats around the property, I absolutely loved them! They added so much charm and made the stay even more special. A special thank you to Irene, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. She was a sweetheart, and I genuinely enjoyed chatting with her. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again. There was really nothing significant that I didn't like. Considering the price I paid, the villa fully met my expectations and offered excellent value for money.

We stayed here for one night at the end of September (booked last minute due to a change in itinerary). The host messaged us beforehand and was very friendly in person--we arrived pretty late at night after a ferry delay, but she waited for us and spent a good amount of time showing us different attractions on a map of Santorini. Our room looked exactly like the pictures and was very spacious and spotlessly clean, and the bed and blankets were comfortable. The building was really quiet at night as it was located about a 10 to 15-minute walk from the center of Fira. The shower stall in our bathroom was smaller than average and didn't give that much room to move around. The shower curtain was effective at keeping water from splashing out, though.

excellent place in everyway: nice, clean, spacious room, great location ( a five-ten minute walk to fira bus stand), next to bus stop, close to restaurants. Irene the hostress is kind, nice, attentive and helpful lady. enjoyed my 5-6 days stay. recommend to all travellers.

Such a great deal, and so convenient! Plus, the manager was super helpful.

Nice and clean and comfortable. There was a little balcony with comfortable chairs, there was a pool with comfortable sun loungers, and pool towels freely available. There was a kettle, teaspoons and decent sized coffee mugs. The bed was very comfortable, with a spare pillow available. The receptionist was kind, helpful and informative. When we arrived we didn’t realise the closed gates were not locked, but that was our fault. A fairly short walk (10 minutes) to the main bus station, with buses to and from the port, Oia, or anywhere else you might want to go, although the footpath is not easy to negotiate. Would be difficult with a big wheelie suitcase. We walked to Fira in about 15 minutes. Nearby is a good, inexpensive bakery, and the Golden Grill is great for gyros.

The host was very friendly and helpful lady who helped us get to our room way before the checkin time. She was very welcoming. The location of the stay is also very good, walkable distance from Fira and bus station and yet secluded to cut of any noise. The pool is decent. The rooms are comfy. The washroom was a big let down. It is really tiny, especially the shower area has hardly any space to even stand or move. I am 6 feet and I absolutely struggled to even bend down even a little as it was so tight.

Well located, reasonable value for money. Room was clean and Irene was very helpful The rooms are very small, especially the bathroom where the shower curtain sticks to the body since there is no room to move. Water bottles were provided only in the first day. This is an expensive perk and if water were provided everyday it would go a long way in providing guests with a good experience.

The room I was given was quite small. I think they gave me a small room because they I was staying alone. Expected a bigger room as per the pictures and the price charged. The rooms are not in the best of condition but it was okay.

everything has exceeded excellence, the host/owner is exceptionally kind, helpful plus very informative. nothing!!

Staff were friendly and the hotel had a load of kittens running around which was amazing!

Very helpful host and clean apartment. Very close to the Fira centre.

Location was good. Just outside Fira but we could walk into town easily on a fairly flat road, it took us about 15 minutes (we are in our 70s). The room was comfortable and very clean with a good shower and a lovely pool-view and ocean-view balcony equipped with a table and chairs where we had a take-out supper our two nights there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nothing, it wass all good.

Lovely pool, very convenient location, handy fridge. Staff were really helpful with good food/attraction recommendations and let us leave our big bag in the reception on our last day.
