Holiday Inn Express Fishkill-Mid Hudson Valley by IHG

My husband and I were here for our 20th Anniversary getaway. We picked the right hotel with a pool, hot tub, free continental breakfast, free Starbucks coffee and teas 24 hours and cookies and ice tea in the late afternoon daily. Also, there are free toothbrush and toothpaste if requested. Love our King sized bed room with a sofabed on the 4th floor. The room was big enough. There was a refrigerator, a microwave, and even a clothing cabinet to hang clothes. I especially love the shower with 3 shower heads to make showering relaxing. The only bad thing is that towels and garbage are not changed daily. You have to ask for them from the maids. No safe either. Overall, we had a most relaxing 3 days 2 nights stay with our needs mostly met. Even the pool and hot tub are never crowded. When my husband went in the evening, he was by himself. Thank you to all the staffs for their help. If you need to cab anywhere, use Uber, not local taxi.

Nice room, clean- but toilet had not been flushed completely. Lights and TV were on in the room when we first entered- which was a little strange.

This place was amazing all the amenities clean staff very friendly just being at the hotel felt like i was far far away becuase of how luxurious it was inside. Hands down recommended

On the first night of my stay, I was awakened by someone literally trying to break into my room by throwing themselves at the door. They did manage to overcome the electronic lokc opening the door a bit, but the dead bolt stopped them. When I threatened to call the police I heard them run away. The next morning when I talked to the manager Mr. Patel, he frankly showed very little emphathy or concern for what had happened or any interest in tracking down the offender(s). I asked manager Mr. Patel why the hotel didn't have car entry devices on the elevator or after hours on front door. He had now answer. I think the owners of this property (another Patel family), should be ashamed of how this incident was handled and do something to create a secure hotel. But I'm not holding my breath. I also have no reason to expect my comments here to receive a reply expressing concern.

It was good for a very basic, last minute overnight stay. Bed was comfortable, room was clean other than the hair (not mine) that was found under the pillows, hotel was quiet. I had hoped to use the pool/hot tub however the set up was odd. You can fully view the pool from both the parking lot and the hotel lobby. The pool did not look clean enough to be inviting, so I skipped it. The breakfast was meh. It was basic, which is fine but I was expecting accommodations comparable to other hotels I’ve stayed at in the area with a similar price point. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Smooth stay, comfortable room. The breakfast ran out of eggs and sides early but otherwise recommend.

Hot tub wasn't working right towels were very rough and the gym machines quite a few of them were not working neither were any of the TVs on the machine

Pool and exercise room are oddly located exposed to the front parking area. Elevator was down at times but generally repaired quickly. Property was clean, beds were comfortable, it was quiet, staff were helpful, breakfast was good. Overall would stay again.

Very personable employees, quiet hours were posted and adhered to, location was excellent in terms of getting on and off major highways and access to variety of restaurants and other shops There were no ice machines on each individual floor. Or at least on our 4th floor.

I booked last minute due to nasty conditions from the previous hotel. Holiday Inn was very nice, clean and customer service was great. My only complaint woukd be there were kids above us and they were jumping and banging very loud. The pool was very nice and clean. The property was very clean highly recommend

I enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Fishkill and found it to be a comfortable place overall. The hotel has an attractive appearance, from the lobby and breakfast area to the well-kept surroundings. Although the room was a bit smaller than I expected, it was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the pool, hot tub, fitness center, 24-hour coffee and tea, and the good variety of breakfast options served from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The breakfast attendant kept the area spotless. The Wi-Fi was inconsistent at night, and the pool towels and elevator could be maintained more frequently. Front desk service was courteous but not always readily available.

Breakfast options weren’t great. Pool area wasn’t clean.

We heard a lot of noise in the hallway at 10:30 at night. Sounded like people coming back from a party.

I loved it everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful I also loved the pool area
