Some rooms have air condition, others do not. Mine did not and was very warm.

The beds are a little hard but the pillows were very comfortable and made up for it. They gave us an extra pillow without even asking for it.

Great location. The owners/managers were friendly, kind, and helpful. I felt comfortable and safe. The 2nd floor lead out to a lovely terrace where I had tea in the morning and relaxed in the afternoon. My room was an adequate size and I liked having a sink and shower in my room. There was no working light over the sink and the outlet at the sink did not work for plugging in a hair dryer. The toilet was one floor up which made going to the bathroom in the middle of the night a trek.

We loved the location - close to the train station but away from the loudness of the station area, while also close to all the major sites downtown. We also loved the quirky decor, and the warmth and kindness of the owners. 10/10 highly recommend!

The owners are incredibly sweet and accommodating, and they have fun personalities. They're funny/sarcastic.

Too noisy from outside
-
Our room was on the street-side, so we could hear all the loud noises from the street even after closing the window. Earplugs were provided, but it was still hard to sleep at times.

The location is excellent, far away enough to be out of the tourist craziness, close enough to walk to the Duomo in 7-8 mins. The owners are wonderful. Pino made me a cup of coffee every morning and chatted. Their terrace is wonderful; you wouldn’t think you were in the middle of Florence. I had a great time The first floor room was a bit noisy in evenings with post-dinner traffic, but earplugs solved the issue.

Great value and close by to everything! A bit loud, but that's to be expected with the location!

It is very close to the train station and very close to several important places in Florence. The owner's attention was excellent. The price does not go according to the facilities, it is comfortable and the place is good but not at that price.

Great location within a 10 min walking distance to city center. The hosts were amazing people. During the day they were on the premises to provide info or just hang out and chat with me up on the rooftop terrace. The terrace was an awesome escape from the hustle and bustle in the street below. The bed was satisfying and I received a second pillow with no problems upon my request. No bathroom in the room, for a pretty high price paid for the room. The room had no AC so it will be very hot during the summer. I opened the window to get some fresh air and air circulation but the very busy street right outside my window kept me up with constant noise. There was a lull in noise between about midnight till about 5 am where I could sleep. The hotel provided ear plugs which helped. I may have had better nights sleep if my room window was facing the rear courtyard.

Hotel is very close to almost all worth seeing places in Florence.

Location was situated very conveniently, walking distance to the train station, tourist attractions, market, many restaurants and fortezza da basso, the conference venue. Not luxury, but felt sincerely homy. The lady was very helpful, going out the way to help me out. Truly generous couple maintains the place.

This little hotel was a delightful discovery. My room led on to a beautiful terrace. It is run by a very nice couple, an American lady and her Italian husband. For a one star hotel it really exceeded my expectations.

Very good

Well located (city center), clean. Old place, with old short bed, and noisy floor given I slept in the ground floor and could hear the people above walking. Photos in the web-page don't represent the one I slept in. Moreover, toilet is shared and was located in first floor so seemed so uncomfortable.

Proximity to train station was great. Also enjoyed the rooftop terrace. My room was on street level next to reception so I found it rather noisy even with windows shut. Front desk was often unstaffed and entrance door unlocked so I was concerned about potential access to room keys.

Very clean! Lovely host and the property is screaming with a homey Italian charm. I like how near it is from main train station, duomo and basically everywhere. Never used the public transpo during my entire stay. There’s also a small restaurant near the property that’s got lovely food - Il Basilico. I also love that the shared toilet gets cleaned almost like after it gets used. Your room is also cleaned daily. And awesome hospitality from the owners. Would definitely come back!

The room and shared bathroom are very clean. Good to have coffee machine in the room and desert everyday. The hosts are very nice. I appreciated their help and sharing. It's a lovely and warm place like staying in friend's house. I had good time there. My room is on the street, so there's some noise. I got used to it which didn't bother me too much.

This is a small hotel located about 550 meters from the central train station, close to the attractions. I felt safe alone in the area. The room was simple but clean, the bed was comfortable. The hosts are very nice. I felt good in the hotel. Good value for money. I recommend it to everyone.
