San Frediano Boutique

We had a wonderful stay in Florence! Alex was a good host—friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. Enjoyed our discussion together. He was attentive and close by if in need of anything, which made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Appreciated dealing with a real person for a change! The apartment is tight, small shower, bathroom etc, but provided a great base for exploring the city. Fantastic restaurants around every corner. If you’re slight in stature, I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. Thank you, Alex, for helping make our time in Florence so enjoyable! The accommodation were adequate but on the smaller end of the scale.

Location was great. Staff had good communication. Cold air in the rooms which was very nice coming from a hotel where the air wasn’t working. Clean room, with comfortable bed. We just stayed one night and caught our flight home in the morning. The building was a little right, but they don’t own the whole building so I guess that’s not their fault. There suites are on the second floor. A little hard to get our luggage up, but the front office helped after he seen me struggling a bit.

The staff is nice. There is no water boiler and bottle of water supply and no supermarket open nearby open at night. It is a little bit inconvenient.

We stayed in July 2025 and had an exceptional experience. The property is immaculate, featuring modern, well-maintained rooms that are fully equipped with thoughtful amenities and attention to detail. The location is fantastic—centrally situated and within walking distance of all major attractions, including both the train and metro stations. From the moment of booking through to our departure, the service provided was outstanding. Sharon and Hammam were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. Their genuine care and hospitality truly stood out; we’ve never encountered hosts as attentive and dedicated. This accommodation and the service provided easily deserve a rating higher than 10—if only that were possible. Highly recommended! Nothing to say .

Really nice clean room with great amenities. Wonderful location, especially if you come by train and not right in the noisy, busy section, but not too far to walk there. Maybe better soundproofing for the rooms door and underneath it as some guests are quite loud when entering late at night. The entry buzzer for the front door is very loud too. Lovely place which l would recommend and stay there again. Noisy rude guests in the middle of the night which was not the hotels fault but inconsiderate tourists.

The location of this hotel is very convenient with many good restaurants, coffee shops and bars nearby. They provided toiletries, slippers and hairdryers which was an unexpected great addition for an international traveler. There is no parking but this is not unusual in a city.

The hotel was in a perfect location to walk to the city center. The room was very well appointed, clean, comfortable, and the television worked beautifully. Sharon and Marco are incredibly accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants all of the above. We liked everything. No complaints.

The location of San Frediano Boutique Hotel was outstanding. It’s in a neighborhood rather than in the touristy areas. Easy walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go in the city, but again away from all the noise and hustle and bustle of the tourist sites. A short walk to Ponte Vecchio and the Pitti Palace. The rooms were very clean, the bed was very comfortable (I like a firm bed) and Sharon was incredibly responsive to any questions that I had. The room had a REAL HAIRDRYER AND FLAT IRON in each and every room, coffee maker and even slippers in the drawer if you would like. I asked for an extra bath towel for my hair (I have a lot of hair) and Sharon accommodated me immediately. This boutique hotel is in what I’m guessing was a former apartment that has now been renovated into hotel rooms. It is in a secured apartment building. I highly recommend this place as a great place to stay! The only thing people need to be aware of and I don’t call this a negative, but if you want someone manning a front desk of a hotel 24 hours a day, this is not the place for you. Sharon communicated immediately with me on What’s App and was able to answer all my questions.

Great location, staff and experience.

Very new, big room, great shower and bathroom. There is a reception and they are very responsive and nice on whatsapp. Notice that there are stares but it’s really not bad.

Good location close to the river but away from the tourist areas. A more local vibe and there are quieter streets and places to eat nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is basic but very clean. No complaints. More coat hangers would be useful and maybe a net curtain on the window for privacy.

Key fob access was nice, air conditioner was cold, felt safe, comfortable bed, toothbrush, toothpaste, water, hair straightener, iron, hair dryer were all extra nice touches. Host was very quick to respond and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again.

Very good room, good location. Street can be a little noise in the morning, could have a comfort or blanket.

The location was great! It was 10-15 minutes walk to everything we wanted to see. I didn’t need to use any sort of transportation while I stayed in Florence. Staff was helpful, responsive and friendly. The room looked and smelled clean. The bathroom could be improved. They should provide conditioner and body lotion. Better hair dryer and iron board would be nice as well.

The location is great, away from the noisy tourist crowds but close to everything. Many good restaurants just a few meters away. The host are very friendly and accommodating. Nothing in particular..

Great location, very close to many restaurants and bars. The room is extremely clean and spacious. Having a small refrigerator for drinks is a bonus! They took exceptional care to ensure we had a wonderful stay.

New place, cosy and super clean, the room has things I wasn't expecting like hear cap for shower and toothbrush! The location is the best and the staff very friendly and helpful Strongly recommended.

Very big and clean room, very quiet and has absolutely everything you might need ( even Straightener ) The self check-in system was most comfortable, one minute and we are in! Highly recommend
