Annoying neighbors. There is a missing part from my equipment.

Excellent location to access Chora and great help with pick-up / drop off to the port. Bed slightly uncomfortable and some of the facilities not modern (rusted, etcetera).

The only positive about this hotel is its location. Everything else was a terrible experience. We were charged €1,100 for two rooms, but the service was nowhere near what you would expect for that price. The hotel is understaffed, poorly maintained, and the breakfast was inedible with coffee that was undrinkable. The staff were impolite and even refused to help us with our luggage despite the high rates we paid. My honest advice: avoid this hotel. The only positive about this hotel is its location. The staff was not very helpful and present. One of the receptionists offered to make a reservation for our family at night but ended up not doing it without informing us. The person welcoming us at check in left one of our suitcases in front of reception and only brought the other suitcase to our room.

Location and general design is very nice. The towels had a slight cigarette smoke smell, and the toilet paper and necessities were not replenished during the cleaning. The room, even though we paid a fair amount for a garden view, was small and in the back and looked at barely anything so it was a disappointing stay.

The cleaning crew Breakfast crew Cats The room was very small for a spa and resort for and the price. The bed was flush against the wall, very small closet to put anything, a desk above the fridge. Hardly any space to move around or put our empty suitcases. The pick up at port : the man didn’t greet us or say hello or goodbye. Very very stern and unfriendly . I asked a question at the front desk and they didn’t get back to me. And I didn’t insist but it’s not very professional. ( for a spa and resort) The pool is too hot because there are not many trees for shade. It’s why the bar area/ lounging area is always empty. I would recommend building a pergolas , planting more vines and trees for shade because there is sun all day on the pool. There are also too many unused area of the pool : kiddie pools and bar pool that are not often used and looks a bit dirty. It’s too big and too much dead spaces full of dust from the wind. Harder to maintain. Not well designed or thought out. Highly recommended: To put pots / plants if allowed out at the main gate: the traffic is flush to the main gate when 2 cars are passing ( main road) and it is very dangerous . My friend almost step down into the path of a car that was too close to the gate.

The resort is in a great location, a few minutes walk to the city centre in Chora. It was really nice lounging by the pool on super hot days.

The mattress was too soft for my taste but managed.

The common pool are is is fantastic. Excellent environment for lounging, with an open bar most of the day if you're into that. Breakfast is decent, though isn't open until 8. Two complaints: First, the beds were some of the least comfortable I have ever slept on. This alone disqualifies it from being a four star hotel. Second - and this is more subjective - the pool bar played Top Hits radio all day. I personally came to Folegandros to relax, and did not like having to listen to the radio all day. I complained about it twice but was told that management required it be on for people by the pool. I was the only person by the pool. This might not bother some people, but it kind of ruined the whole vibe for me. I spent most of my time outside of the hotel or with earplugs in. The staff did accommodate me in moving rooms to one that was more quiet, but I still found it annoying. Even if they were to play a more curated/chill playlist, it would help.

We loved this resort. Peaceful with a wonderful swimming pool to laze away some hours. The room was spacious and comfortable. Excellent location, very quiet but only a 2 minute walk to shops and restaurants of Chora. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Gym was good. Bathroom was very outdated, could do with renovating.

Picturesque 2 storey villa style buildings around a large pool area. Very comfortable room, with a large outdoor terrace, 10 steps from the pool. Located a short walk into the village. The village is pedestrian only, with a maze of charming picturesque streets and squares, with single storey terraces of houses, and squares with restaurants and shops.

Proximity to Chora (the centre) and pleasant swimming pool Given the amount of money we paid to stay here, it really wasn’t worth it. Admittedly, staying on an island during the height of the summer tends to be expensive but this was extortionate. I would have had no problem with this if the quality of the stay had matched or closely matched expectations but sadly, that was not the case. Don’t be fooled by the photos online - this is a tired hotel which is in need of a serious revamp. Breakfast was poor - limited choice and staff with a poor attitude. One morning, I was informed that there wasn’t any cutlery left because it was in the dishwasher and there was nothing they could do! Fruit on display had been there for weeks and consisted of some old apples and oranges. There was a very limited supply of mini croissants that quickly ran out every morning and other very basic provisions (not in keeping with the way the hotel markets itself). We had to remind the hotel to clean our rooms on one occasion when they had failed to do so which, given that we were only there for 4 nights, was very surprising and annoying. In short, I would not recommend staying here.

People at the recepion were fantastic: keen to help you on every situation. The hotel is very quiet. Very close to Chora, so that you can reach it easily on foot. The “sweet” breakfast could improve: fresh cakes for instance, more fruit, better jams.
