Ampelos

This place is special. The whole place looks like a well designed movie set, and you get to be in it. The view looking over the pool to the church is amazing anytime of the day or night. The property is well kept, with flowers and herbs everywhere. Rooms are very well done with detail and purpose in mind. One of the few places that it's actually better than the pictures show. Theo and Areti are truly fantastic hosts and made our visit very memorable,Thank you. Having to leave.

The location was perfect for us as we like a little walk to get to and from meals. The views were beautiful, it was quiet and spotless. Theo was a great host and he met us at the port. a better shower head perhaps, but it was fine.

Everything is beyond perfect! Wonderful views, big and spotless clean room. Even the bathroom had a top view! The pool is big, clean and delicious. Fastest internet (5G) that sometimes we don’t find in 5 stars hotels.

Everything was just really really real and simple while being really nice. Everything was great.

Perfect location & a wonderful property

Very nice and cosy traditional (The Cyclades!! = white/blue/warm colours) accomodation, great pool, fantastic view out of the windows, as well as from the pool - over Chora (the main village) and the Church of Panagia, fridge, TV (you do not need TV = you have so many other choices/options to "stare" at - the pool, Chora, the church - by day/by night, just enjoy the peace of the place). Easy and relaxing place in order to absolutely calm down, the very nice and kind, always smiling and ready-to-provide-you-all-the-services, owners. Possibility to order breakfast / or just coffe - fresh orange juice - to enjoy your morning. 5 minutes walk to the main place/square Chora (plenty of choices - food/markets/souvenir shops- whatever you wish). One of the greatest place in the world we have ever been!! Highly reccomended to everyone! I could go-on and go.on... = simply: GO!! Beata and Dimitris Nothing, everything was just perfect/excellent! We would go again "tomorrow"... :-)

The location near town and the setting / outdoor pool were nice. Host was very nice and accomodating, he picked us up and dropped us back at the port. There were little worms (?) that made their way in under the front door .... I must have cleaned up 10-12 each morning .... could have been due to being so close to the pool and the cool, rainy weather.

Theo and his wife are wonderful hosts. Very nice, very available, very helpful. Everything was perfect. The hotel is very quiet, very clean and it's the perfect place to rest and to go explore the island. I will come back!

Well located, well maintained and impeccably clean. Congenial hosts who went out of their way to make my stay really enjoyable Nothing comes to mind.

The location is perfect: close to Chora but yet removed from any bustle etc associated with a popular village. We appreciated the friendly, efficient and helpful ethos in Ampelos - hands on but never intrusive! The husband and wife managers, Theo and Areti, communicated well and provided an excellent introduction to Folegandros (restaurants, excursions etc). Furthermore, the set up - comprising a small pool surrounded by individual rooms on two floors is tasteful and conducive to providing a feeling of friendliness and a sense of community. Theo is an able and resourceful guy with excellent English skills. We particularly appreciated his assistance in tracking down a replacement camera battery charger ( we had left the original at home!) and having it sent to 'meet up' with us on Naxos. The courtesy pick up and drop off at the port was greatly appreciated.
