Breakfast was excellent. I have never seen an hotel with so much mismanagement as this Ibis Styles in Val de Fontanay. The first room we are given upon checkin was occupied by other guests. When coming back the receptionist for the Ibis styles was gone and we had to walk to the Novotel reception. The guy who staffed that reception said that we had to wait and that "she would be coming" we waited for 15 mins but nobody showed. It was only after an hour when the guy actually moved to the Ibis styles reception and gave us another room, which was again(!) occupied with a guest visibly scared and yelling at us. The cherry on top was that the air-conditioning in our room was not working in the intense heat and staff is aware of the problem but doesn't do much about it, it's been like that for a week without any resolution. With better management this hotel could get a way better score, right now all i can recommend is stay away!!!

The breakfast wasn’t bad . There are plenty of choices First when I arrived at the reception I had to wait half an hour for someone to check me in It’s in front of the bus station and always noisy The room supposed to be with a bathtub but it was only a shower The AC wasn’t working, when I asked about it they said it’s only working in summer . It should be mentioned beforehand

Beds were big and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and amazing. Table football downstairs-good for kids. Kettle in the lobby and teabags to share and a microwave- useful. I'm not sure I like the decor! But it was all fine. That's just my taste!

Staff at reception were really helpful. Thank you. I'll be back

Like bus station, train station and taxi. I didn't like the bed because it's not the double bed it's join tow single bed.

Breakfast was probably the best part of this hotel experience. Hotel is very close to transit approximately 100m-200m away, however, the location area is not the safest. We booked 4 rooms and were charged different rates for two out of the four, even though they were identical and on the same floor adjacent to each other. As a result, paying more then what we were quoted on Bookings, even though they were all pre-booked. Since, hotel is connected with Novotel, there is usually nobody at the Ibis Styles entry, especially at night. Rooms were also very small and beds were horrible, two singles pushed together kept coming apart. We regularly had to get up in the middle of the night to push beds together. Towels and toiletries were replaced the first couple of days but not towards the end of the stay, especially night 5-6). As we were a large group of 7, we booked a taxi that could accommodate our group, with the assistance of hotel clerk. We pre-booked a taxi and paid a 7 Euro pre-booking fee to G7 taxi service, 2 days in advance. The morning of our departure, no taxi arrived, and since we were a large group of 7, two taxis had to be called the morning of our departure, doubling our cost and taxi company said that they had no confirmation from the hotel.

the lounge area and the buffet was nice enough. The rooms. Asked to change rooms due to broken shower, and slow draining sink. But staff was not receptive. They did say we could change rooms but we didn't end up doing so due to being tired each day after coming back from Paris.
