Quality Inn Forest City

Some of the lights were either hard to find a way to turn on or did not turn on. The pillow sheets smell weird like the hadn’t been cleaned with the staff that I spoke with was nice.

Above average for the price, breakfast was ok, waffles, no eggs. Pool was in good shape, close to several restaurants. Did open to the parking lot, only downside, reasonably quiet

The room was nice. There were just a lot of little things. The biggest was the room smelled like weed. The ice machine was empty every morning. Breakfast was ok, but I didnt trust the toast. The waffle machine worked fine. You couldn't have the TV on and run the microwave at the same time. The light abive the vanity mirror would go off randomly. Room service was great. The trash was emptied and fresh towels were done every day. Its very close to all the fast food and shopping. The staff were very friendly. Bed and pillows were comfy. It was quiet. The TV had Netflix. We didnt get a chance to use the pool, but it looked nice.

We will not be staying here again.

Simple but efficient. All hard surface flooring does make the room sound like an echo chamber, not a complaint merely an observation .

DO NOT STAY IN RM107..THE ENTIRE CEILING WAS COVERED IN MILDEW (have pics & willing to share ) Upon opening the room, there was a strong stitch in the room. Looked up to the ceiling and it was awful. Went to front desk, which BTW has a sign " no refunds after 10 mins" and the young man (kid actually) looked at us like he could not believe it. So we showed pics and he still looked surprised saying he didn't know how that could happen. We told him it didn't just happen- the mold was coal black. He pulled out light to see the mold and I told him he didn't need a light to see the mold and I was certain if I called the health dept he would be shut down. Told he expected full refund, we were ckng in somewhere else. Told him we were in our mid 70's and mold was a definite health hazard. 3days out now still waiting on refund to hit account. If not soon will call them to inquire why no refund then be up front and tell them Im calling health dep & BBB. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE A PLAGUE.

Breakfast was very limited. Just toast, waffles, 2 sweet cereals and over ripe fruit.

Location was perfect and everything seemed clean. The hotel itself needs an update but not a bad place if you need somewhere to sleep. Staff was great.

Nice hotel. Clean room, staff nice. Parking was ok. There were some big work trucks parked there.

The rooms are only separated by a locked door. The person in the room next to us was blasting music all evening. We complained to the front desk, they said they would call the room and have them turn the music down, that never happened. The music blared all night resulting in no sleep for my husband and I, with a 10 hour drive ahead of us. Okay place just to lay your head, but not if you want to get a restful sleep

Room wasn’t ready when I arrived, check in was 3, I arrived at 3:30, room wasn’t ready until 4. Room also had a musty smell! I won’t use this facility again.

NOT A VERY GOOD AREA, either. I believe it was the owner who is at the front desk, so word to the wise… STAY AWAY

Stayed one night . My husband and I noticed itchy , red bites that become swollen and more like welts all over us by the evening of our same day checkout. Unfortunately, we have had one other experience years ago with a cabin stay that had bed bugs . We emailed the corporate office on Sunday , and they responded on Monday. After several emails back and forth they also recommended we call the hotel as they are individually owned . The hotel manager was very dismissive , and said their “ bug guy “ checked the room and there was no bugs . Looking at the reviews of this hotel after the fact, there are other complaints of BED BUG infestations. Clearly this is a problem in their hotel . The comforter also on the bed was stained and smelled like cigarettes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!

The free breakfast had NO options! The containers and compartments for fruit, muffins, bagels, yogurt, milk..... were empty. There was sugared cereal and a waffle marker. The bedding was stained (sheets and comforter). There were people loud and loitering outside. The pool was uninviting. But the staff person was very friendly.
