Green Island Inn

The staff were incredibly friendly, gracious, and professional. We travel frequently for work and stay in many hotels, and our room was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The property itself was not quite on par with the beautifully maintained rooms; however, it was still cleaner and better maintained than many name-brand four-star hotels we have stayed in. The staff mentioned that they are continuing to upgrade the outdoor spaces and plan to replace fencing and make additional improvements in the near future. The garden was clearly still young, but you could already see the beginnings of something very special. During our stay, I observed staff cleaning the property every day, including wiping down outdoor chairs and tables. The pool area, tables, and seating were also clean and well maintained. They even had bicycles available for guests to borrow, as well as beach chairs and other equipment we could use during our stay. The staff also went above and beyond to accommodate several special requests. We needed a late check-in, requested foam pillows instead of feather pillows, and even asked at the last minute if a business associate could visit us for a meeting. Since the hotel was not full, the staff graciously allowed our guest to park on the property while we met. We truly cannot say enough good things about our experience.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Full kitchen with supplies. Quite and convenient. We felt safe here and walked the neighborhood at night. We loved our stay here. NA

Green Island Inn was such a jewel! The resort has a cool tropical/tiki vibe. The grounds are landscaped so beautifully. Our room looked like it had been newly renovated. It was so clean and so spacious! The kitchenette was perfect! I wish we had stayed long enough to cook in it. It had every kitchen need you could possibly ask for. Beautiful dishes, glasses, silverware, pots/pans, cooking utensils...everything you would need for the week. The bathroom was so nice! Huge shower with great water pressure. The bed was SO comfortable! Soft sheets with fat pillows. The pool area was fantastic! The pool itself was big and clean. You could easily throw a party with 100 people and they'd all fit comfortably on the pool deck. There was a nice grill area and a bar area where you could set up a full bar with a bartender. The entire Green Island Inn resort would be perfect for a family or college reunion. The staff was SO easy to work with! If you aren't going to check in during business hours, it's imperative that you follow their instructions and contact them 24 hours before check in. Accommodations must be made, but it was a super easy process for us. The beach is directly across the street from the resort. Easy to walk to with all your beach gear, no need to drive, although if you have kids, a wagon would be helpful. Publix grocery store within walking distance. Lots of restaurants in close vicinity. All in all, it was the perfect location for our weekend getaway!

The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom was great! It was easy and fast to communicate with them and to get there. The location of the Inn is the best - you can walk to the beach, restaurants and stores. I would recommend. The pool was great (heated) and it had a good size. The pool area is very cute and comfy. The garden is beautiful - we loved sitting outside and watching all the birds and plants. The only con is the lack of breakfast (we already knew that) and that there's no staff on site in the evenings and entire weekends. We didn't have any problems, though, and when I had questions, they answered them quickly through messages.

The room is much more than we expected - great size, bright, lots of light, facing a cute garden. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommend. 5 min walk from a beautiful beach without any tourists. N/A. Everything was great.

This place is amazing! I love it They need to have umbrellas by the pool it’s so hot you can’t enjoy it at certain time of day or some sort of shaded area and especially for the grilling area a simple shaded cover would make the space more useable the outdoor bar is so hot I almost got burned ? Some simple movable umbrellas would make this place Magnificent ❤️⭐️

Clean quite safe

Location is in old part of town. The place upon arrival was a "DUMP" They only have one young person in charge and had NO idea when rooms were going to be ready or anything else. The pictures posted in BOOKING are totally deceiving. We called Booking directly to cancel reservation, which we were not able to do! Booking told us to take photos and the "young person " in charge came running out of her messy little office to tell us we "COULD NOT TAKE ANY PICTURES" (we were able to take a few photos at entrance only). This property should NOT be listed in Booking. We ended up reserving 3 nights stay at the Meridian Hotel and paying out of pocket & not being reimbursed. The Green Island Inn still charged us for one night stay!! and did NOT use facilities. The property and management

Friendly staff, super cute and comfortable. Almost full size fridge, stove top, closets and nice bathroom. Great big pillows and comfortable bed. Chairs and umbrellas to borrow. Large sliding glass door and chairs to sit on outside, beach towels and laundry (downstairs-$) to use. Would definitely stay again. Also great , quiet, safe area. Easy walk to beach across the street.

A wonderful hidden gym! Excellent location right by the beach and accessible to many stores and restaurants. It was also conveniently walking distance to entertainment right up the street. The staff was also extremely nice and helpful. I couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

The location is perfect for walking to the beach or restaurants. Agnes and Richie were very helpful, thoughtful, happy and pleasant! The other vacationers were great. Nice heated pool and garden areas! Very clean and updated!
