I have stayed before. The hotel is basic and roomy. It is convenient to the town center . Nothing it is basic and meets my needs.

Check in process was smooth, the hotel managers were very friendly. Our room was very spacious. There's a bus stop right in front of the motel and Ocean Mart a short walk away. The pool area was well kept and parking spots are available as well.

We had a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We had just finished a cruise and experienced a few travel mishaps, but they immediately made us feel at home, which was greatly appreciated. Our upstairs room was already cool and comfortable when we checked in, making it easy to relax right away. The property is motel-style, so there are stairs to the second floor, but we enjoyed having a table and chairs just outside our room to sit and unwind. One of the things we loved most was the beautiful green space throughout the property, with plenty of seating areas to relax. The pool area was inviting, and having a grill available next to the pool was a nice bonus. The ice machine was always stocked, and the on-site washer and dryer were extremely convenient after spending several days on a cruise. The location couldn't have been better. The beach, restaurants, and local attractions were all within walking distance, so we rarely needed a car. Overall, this property offers great value, excellent hospitality, and a relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient place near the beach. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay, but there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The air conditioning had a difficult time keeping up during the hottest part of the day. To be fair, we did leave the curtains open while we were out, which likely contributed to the room warming up. Even so, the room remained warmer than we would have preferred at night, making it a bit less comfortable for sleeping. The only other suggestion would be extending the pool hours. It would have been wonderful to enjoy a relaxing swim after sunset, especially after spending the day at the beach or exploring the area. Despite these minor issues, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the overall atmosphere and hospitality.

Friendly staff and exceptionally clean including the pool. Close to beach and food. The worst part was the AC. It was a wall unit in the kitchen and did not reach the sleeping area or the bathroom. Temps in the room were high 80s and we went to target to buy two fans. Just be forewarned that if it’s 100 outside it will be 90 in the room.

When we got there it was overwhelming of bleach and cleaner and the air conditioning couldn't keep up and it was very warm in there. Expedia helped me by contacting the Inn about this. The manager contacted me the next day. He was very nice and apologetic. He refunded our room and also refunded our friends room we were traveling with. They were very nice. Having asthma I couldn't take the strong smell. But very clean.

The location is great, staff was friendly, I only dealt with the front desk attendant. I have stayed here more than once, the hotel is very outdated, the pool area needs some work done, the bathroom in my room was outdated to the max, and if you don’t come before 6 on check in date your reservation automatically cancels. I don’t think I would be back.

The room was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the pool and like being with him walking distance to so many restaurants. It was only two blocks from the beach.

The rooms are always clean and smell fresh when we arrive. The rooms are spacious and fully stocked! Housekeeping makes sure that we have everything we need and the front desk staff always go above and beyond! The location is within walking distance of the Datura Ave. Beach entrance. The facility keeps beach items for guests to access at all times. (beach chairs, boogie boards, beach balls. and more!) We enjoyed the pool during this visit more because of the sargassum seaweed overload on the beach. We love visiting Horizon by the Sea Inn and will be returning soon! There was nothing that we didn't like. The facility exeeded our expectations.

This is my 3rd time staying here. The staff is always fantastic from the front office staff to the cleaning lady who is happy to help. The on-site laundry area is great and it's proximity to all the great food and bars in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is great.
