Property is under new management and being updated. The rooms are very clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. You do have to ask for kitchen utensils if needed due to short supply until they get everything updated. Great location for hospital, zoo, college and stockyards. We stayed 5 nights.

This property may be the perfect example of that saying. If you’re booking because of the price, just make sure you set your expectations accordingly. First, finding your room can be confusing. The building numbers are odd on one side and even on the other, and we were simply told it was “the second building toward the back.” If you book through Expedia or another third-party site, I’d also recommend calling the property to confirm your room type. I booked a double-bed room for myself and a friend but was given a single queen bed instead. The key cards were another issue. We had to get two replacements, and eventually a front desk employee had to let us into our room because it appeared to be locked from the inside. Definitely keep the cards away from credit cards and cell phones. I also would not recommend cooking or staying here for an extended period. One of the stove burners looked unsafe enough that I was uncomfortable using it. The sheets appeared clean, but much of the rest of the room did not feel particularly clean or well-maintained. Our room also had no bathroom door, meaning zero privacy. Overall, if you just need an inexpensive place to sleep for a night and understand that you’re getting what you paid for, it may work. Just keep your expectations realistic—the low price definitely comes with some trade-offs.

The bathroom faucet had barely any pressure out of it making it difficult to clean up and wash my hands

The place was disgusting it stank really bad I had the worse experience. The Expedia is not a good place I will not recommend it. I have been claiming my money and they don’t have a line to call that’s how horrible this place is.

Nothing I want a refund. They gave me 3 different rooms that already had people in it. I am a single woman traveling by myself 8 hours away from anything I know. And I felt very unsafe at this location. Staff was unapologetic at the crazy issues they caused. The cops should have been called.

The size of the room is great and we always enjoy using the laundry area when we travel. The appliances are needing some TLC and the sink area in the bathroom

I was given the room key to a room that was already occupied by another person. I booked a non-smoking due to allergies and the room was smoked in recently. I could not sleep there the nights I booked and did not have confidence that there was a room that was strictly non-smoking.

I was uncomfortable staying in the room due to concerns about its cleanliness. The room had an unpleasant odor, and the bed sheets appeared stained, making me worried they may not have been properly cleaned. Outside, I noticed another guest’s wet bed sheets just laying on floor outside, and the area smelled strongly of marijuana. As I was leaving, I also observed underwear hanging in the bushes to dry. Overall, these conditions made me feel unsafe and unable to comfortably stay in the room. I don’t think I will book here again.
