Ojo Azul Resort

The food at Almatierra was some of the best that I had during my stay, and was always an incredible value for what was served. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were always hearty. The room was comfortable and well maintained. There is a wonderfully cozy feel about the grounds of the property and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Cleanliness The massage therapist - too young and inexperienced. Massage on December 30 2024 at 8:00 am. Room cold ! Very uncomfortable! Therapist felt uncomfortable during massage. No personality - too young. I’d like more lighted signs at night it was difficult navigating to the location. The signs should be big and happy - providing reassurance that we are traveling in the right direction.

The place is clean. The rooms are nice & clean. The food at the restaurant was not good, no flavor. They need to work on it. Also, our tv didnt work in tge room.

Everything about Ojo Azules was A-1. My only concern is how soon can I return to enjoy a terrific resort.

Horrible. I had a terrible experience at this resort if I can possibly talk further more about this experience that would be ideal. I was victim of virtual kidnapping at this resort. The staff was involved as well.

Excellent location, service, and resort! It was perfect!

Staff was great. The setting was unique with grapevines everywhere. The restaurant was exceptional. I would go back. We had a coffee maker but no coffee. The staff provided upon request. Location is a little out of the way.

The location was perfect. The resort is in the heart of Valle, close to the wineries. It was easy to get to the destination. The staff were very nice and hospitable. Unfortunately, our TV couldn't connect to the wifi but we had been out by the firepits until late, so it wasn't a big deal, but it should have been checked.

the room size was perfect. there was no view from the room but once outside, it was beautiful. the Pool and jacuzzi were well kept. they had pool towels in the room. there was a Keurig coffee machine with two pods. they provided bicycles and it was perfect for morning exercise. furthermore, they gave us 400 pesos credit for use in our breakfast which covered most of our check! lastly, the rooms are updated and decorated to our liking No view of the beautiful outdoors.

location, amenities and friendly staff We found some mud stains in the bathroom. A friendly bug appeared to say good morning.
