Everything was spotlessly clean, the Onsen was very nice and had all the necessary facilities (showers, soap, shampoo etc). Rooms were also clean Bed and pillow were pretty hard

Nice clean room and great location. Very kind staff, recommended Onsen, location

Yumori Onsen Hostel is a beautiful Onsen hostel. The town was small but really beautiful and the staff were extremely nice. The free shuttle buses to and from Fukushima station are very convenient. The town lacks restaurants after 7:30pm or a convenient store. Would stay here again.

The staff was great at Yumori, friendly and generous. The area is very peaceful and beautiful, but while not at the peak of the tourist season, many restaurants were closed. There was a shuttle bus from Hiroshima station to the hostel, but having a car would have opened up more possibilities for exploring the area. The Onsen was only indoors, but it was amazing.

Nothing :( - It was frustrating immediately from check-in. As a tourist area, I’m sure they have plenty of people who can’t speak Japanese. But that’s no reason to refuse to speak Japanese with any foreigner who can. The woman at the check-in desk talked negatively about her time in America, which seemed like a strange way to strike up conversation with your customers. While everyone else was perfectly happy to speak with us in Japanese, she seemed dead set on using us as English practice. I just wanted a smooth check-in process and I didn’t appreciate your condescending tone. - The Booking website lists this place as having a no children allowed policy, which is a huge joke. There were kids screaming and crying through the walls our whole stay. - It seems to have been “refurbished” recently, but it was just cheap-looking. The capsule area was incredibly uncomfortable and my futon felt damp. I know capsule hotels are a budget option, but that doesn’t mean they have to be awful. - You can adjust the AC, but that means other guests can as well. Even though it was summer, someone kept turning the temperature up so the room was warm. - Unfortunately, some other guests kept calling out to us and made us uncomfortable. There was a man sleeping in the lobby sprawled out across a bench for hours, snoring loudly. - The onsen area was okay, but you do have to pay for a rental towel.

Stuff were very nice and kindly explained us everything. It was easy to get to hostel from Fukushima station East exit. As we stayed on weekdays, there were not so much customers, so we could enjoy public onsen privately. Very reasonable price for such a nice service and accommodations. Absolutely recommend to visit and I will definitely come back again. Thank you for a great weekend!

Super facilities, very clean

Beautiful spot in the world! Loved seeing a flowing river, Great using the Onsen! Lovely view and pleasant location. Staff are very pleasant and friendly Didn’t like sharing the shower facilitates as they’re only two showers unless going to onsen. Shower on the right feels very small for 6ft 3 person but it was always clean. Wouldn’t prefer to pay extra if it had shower in the room, beds are bit hard and pillows bit soft

Great staff and the private rooms were spacious and with a gorgeous view of the river and the town would recommend to anyone wanting to experience a nice quiet getaway
