Excellent location, secure parking on site, welcoming, helpful, friendly staff throughout the hotel. Good sized, comfortable room & varied selection of foods at breakfast. Plenty of bars, restaurants within walking distance. Due to central location & pedestrian area, hotel can be difficult to locate - so suggest plan ahead & seek landmarks to assist. No room air conditioning - only mobile fans - which can make room feel stuffy if staying during warm periods.

The healthy and creative breakfast buffet was outstanding and also the friendly and helpful staff and location next to the train station and the beautiful view from our 4th floor window. The front renovation project seems to make no progress and is not pleasant to live with.

It’s central location, secure parking, able to accommodate dog. A generous sized shower with accurate associated controls. Surprised to find that our fifth floor room outlook was disrupted by scaffolding and associated safety netting which affected our hoped for skyline view. Mention was made at the reception desk that all booking platforms carried a disclosure of the building works, yet unfortunately, no mention of it could be found on yesterday’s’Booking’ site, apart from in the reviews. We found the signage and layout of the building confusing - a mass of beige for walls and doors with A4 office style directional notices stuck to the walls. Clear floor level signage would be a good start. As for the room, certainly clean, however, an extraordinary television table in the middle of the room acted as an obstacle to clear access to the remainder of the (large) room, as well as not being as secure as one might have hoped for. The provided occasional table was flimsy and unbalanced. No seat available, just a firm cube of foam without a backrest.

The room looked good and smelled good. It was nice to feel a perfume every time I entered the room. The location is also very good, as well as the communication with the staff. They were also very transparent when informing that the hotel was undergoing renovations. The plates in the breakfast section were not 100% clean. I had to warn that two of them had small pieces of food waste. In one of them, a piece of parsley was evident. The hotel is also more expensive than other ones I stayed in Germany, though having less features If I'm not mistaken, you need to pay additionaly to get coffee, even in the breakfast. I'm not sure if the Wifi is free only in the first day, as I could understand from the ticket I got when checking in.
