Hotel-Gasthof Lampenhäusl in Fusch on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road offers rooms in a modern as well as a historic building, some providing bathrooms with massage showers. Guests of the Lampenhäusl can relax in the sauna area which features an infrared cabin, a solarium, a quiet relaxation zone, a sun terrace and several saunas. In the morning, the restaurant offers an extensive breakfast buffet, while in the evening 3 different set meals and a large salad buffet are available. Barbecue evenings are hosted regularly in the garden. The Lampenhäusl is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park, close to the Sportregion Zell am See-Kaprun. Guests can go biking on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road or hiking in the immediate vicinity. In winter, skiing and cross-country skiing is possible nearby.

The hotel’s location is very good and we enjoyed having dinner and breakfast there. The lady at reception was very kind and hospitable and even showed us the webcam the next morning to make a decision whether the weather is good to drive that scenic route. Nothing

Very pleasant welcoming staff. We were met by a lovely lady, Isabella, who couldn’t be more helpful. The rooms were more than adequate too. Food was lovely and we had use of a private garage too. We hope to return again. Nothing to complain about.

clean with beautiful mountainous view; friendly and nice staff at the reception and restaurant; had a chance to watch a band performance show in the middle of dinner time, the songs and singing were so great and everyone on site was enjoying the moment and some began to dance along the tunes, atmosphere ignited to the highest at the end....... a very wonderful experience after the equally exceptional tour along Grossglockner High Alpine Road it would be great if the hotel could provide electric kettle to guests who would like to drink hot water. Nevertheless, the staff in the kitchen offered the assistance to get hot water from the coffee machine.

Rooms were functional but absolutely huge - ours had a fantastic balcony. Views from the hotel were lovely. It's a really good base for exploring Grossglockner High Road. The Reception was warmly welcoming and had great insight into the area. The set meal in the restaurant was disappointing and the service was quite poor in the restaurant. Breakfast was adequate. For a hotel that spoke a lot about its food I was hoping for something better especially when compared to other hotels we stayed in on this holiday.

what a great hotel. pictures dont do it justice. lovely staff, great rooms and good food. great base before you ride the grossglockner at breakfast the hot food service is a bit disorganised. its not the staff or the hotels fault, its just random directions taken by guests

The size of the room and bath room. Location was ok if u have a car. BF area was full of fly.

The room was very spacious and nicely isolated noise of the mountain river, which is just outside the hotel. We also quite enjoyed the free sauna available there. All was great.
