Super 8 by Wyndham Gainesville I-75 Hospital University Area

Classic American road hotel, immediately off the highway. Amazing value for America. Even get waffles and coffee for breakfast. My room was large, very clean, comfortable with great shower. for the price, it was more than I was expecting. It's a box, not constructed to last. I used it as an overnight stop on a road trip and it was perfect for that. It's not meant to be luxury. There is a tiny pool but it was not filled with water (in midsummer)

The room had quite a weird smell to it after the initial air freshner smell wore off. Other than that, the place was quite decently clean and modern feeling. The pool was small but convenient and did its job. My room key randomly stopped working twice and i had to get it replaced. All in all, i was quite happy staying here, and considering i paid only $55 a night, it was a great great value for what i got

We had to help our daughter moving into her dorm at UF. It was the moving in weekend, so all hotel raised their room charge. But this hotel didn't. Therefore, we could stay here with very reasonable price. It is an old hotel. We stayed at their 3rd floor without knowing they didn't have an elevator. But it was fine. If you have hard time going upstirs, I don't recommend you book the upper floor rooms. Surprisingly, the price was included breakfast. There was only coffee, some bread and waffles. But it is ok! I appreciated for that. The staff was very friendly, and we had an easy check in and out. Yes, the room was old, but they renovated. It was just fine to stay one night. All other hotels near UF raised their prices but Super 8. Thank you!

The room smelled, window sills had mold, bed was terrible, no elevator and no water pressure.

We stayed at this property a couple of times before with no issues but this time around very disappointed. The vent in the bathroom was missing the cap. Also, the door in the bathroom didn’t close all the way the room was very humid and very damp. I felt like I was living in a basement. They came in to change the towels and left a floor mat with footprints on it. There was also a very musty smell.

This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences my family and I have ever had. We checked in, took our belongings to the room, and went out to eat. When we returned, we discovered that the air conditioning was not working. The area around the unit and the electrical outlet was completely wet and soaked, which was extremely concerning from a safety standpoint. The room also had a strong musty smell, and the floor was so greasy and slippery that you could literally slide across it. The overall cleanliness was

great location - near i75. A lot of eateries nearby. 24hr coffee\tea is available. the hotel is remodelled, so everything is new in the room (at least the 1st floor) the evening receptionist was not always reachable.

The room was clean but there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, and we had to ask for towels after two days after cleaning service was there they only took away dirty towels but not cleaned or replaced them. The pool was a plus but needed to be vaccumed. Otherwise the staff was friendly .

I spent one night at this conveniently located, reasonably priced and quiet motel. My room was clean and spacious with a comfortable king size bed,mini fridge,microwave and safety deposit box. The bathroom seemed to be recently renovated with a nice walk in shower. Hotel staff were friendly and professional. I was required to pay a refundable security deposit upon checking in.There is plenty of free onsite parking available. A complimentary continental breakfast is available to guests. I had a pleasant one night stay and would definitely stay here again when visiting Gainesville.
