I think it’s time to upgrade your property a bit. For such a beautiful place - I think you deserve to also show off modern amenities.

Th location is good as you can walk down easily to the MG road. Breakfast was good. Restaurant and Reception staff are well behaved. I booked a deluxe room for 3 days. You would need to climb down 2 stories of stairs to access them. Since, due to our age, it was difficult for us to climb stairs, we requested them to upgrade us to a room where we could use elevators. They gave a higher category room for 2 days with an additional charge of Rs 800. However, except for the facility of the elevator, the room, too, was quite small and with no views. On the third day, we had to shift to a deluxe room as the room we were staying in was prebooked. Deluxe rooms are not worth the money. They are small. The bathroom was not good with leaking taps. The window did not close properly. Thus, it needs a lot of improvements. The hotel is noisy as housekeeping staff gossip in loud voices while cleaning other rooms. The restaurant serves good food, but the prices are exorbitant. Imagine a plate of Alubhaja (thinly cut potato fry) cost close to Rs. 450! Also the car parking area is not great since they are crowded with travel vehicles which do not tend to move for hours. So if you have booked a tourist vehicle, it is highly unlikely that you can board it from the hotel entrance and will need to climb up to the main road to get it.

Only the location. Everything was below standard...infact really poor. I have stayed in many Summit Hotels and this is absolutely not upto Summit Group Hotel's standard. In order to expand their network, they are ending up procuring pathetic hotels. This will only diminish their reputation, exactly like what happened to OYO. Hope the management takes care of this.
