Tag Along 2 0 Hostel Gangtok

My check-in was very late was bit worried of late checkin although peeps at tag along make sure of smooth check-in.Also Breakfast was good view was awesome and most importantly host was very kind. Although nothing to be not liked here just be cautious with the stairs if you're with kids apart from this everything is top notch.

Wifi works reasonably well. Decent views from the top floor. Kitchen and other staff members are friendly and good. One needs to climb too many steps (probably 100+) to enter/exit property. Not convinient to get any shared taxis, so eventually you will end up spending more to travel even to nearby places. There are a few dogs (untied) inside the property. They live and sleep in the hall area of ground floor. They bark a lot and charge at you even after seeing u multiple times (not their fault, too many people to remember as people in the hostel keep changing). It becomes very tricky and scary especially after sunset to enter/exit the rooms as they may most probably bark and scare you badly. They probably won't bite, but I m not sure. If you are a pro at handling dogs, probably you will have fun staying here, else if u r like me, it unnecessarily becomes scary and very inconvenient. I am not against pets, i like them too.. I am just sharing my honest experience. Had a very bad experience with a travel agency suggested by the property owners to get permits for North Sikkim. I sincerely request them to not suggest that agency to anyone else and help travelers not to have a bad experience.

Loved the calmness of the property. I was surprised to see carpet floors and room slippers being provided in a hostel because it’s a cold place. The hot water was ♥️ If you want to spend some quality time away from chaos, this would be the perfect place. Also thanks to Bhavna for welcoming us so warmly and also introducing us to the backpacking community of Gangtok. Nothing specifically, but just the location. As a solo traveller it can be a little tricky to get around from there but nothing too difficult.

Property is having all the amenities & it’s very clean Only thing I didn’t like is there is stairs to climb up & down to reach hostel, except this everything is just awesome

Had an amazing time thanks to the host (saran) and all the staff for making the place so enjoyable . There is nothing their that you won't like.

Everyone working at the hostel are extremely accomodating, welcoming and sweet. They made my stay very comfortable. They also helped me with recommendations.

One of the best hostel I have stayed till now… Away from city’s hustle but yet not so far.. Saran & Zami are very much interactive and helpful in every aspect. special mention to Prabhath da for lip smacking food preparations. This place has homely feel. Also board games, movie nights are something which kept us engaged !!

The place was tranquil. Perfect distance from the hustle of the town. The mattress was very stiff. Was not at all comfortable to sleep on.

I liked everything. Nothing as such. Only the stairs are a bit tough but with a positive mindset it's not a problem.

The staff especially saran, Maneesha and zammie are very helpful. The location is beyond amazing. It has amazing view of the hill and at night of the city lights. The place is hygienic well maintained and has lots of open areas. The dogs and cats are very friendly. They provide homely meals. 100 percent recommended. The place is little away from the city so you would have to walk a little, if you want to save money to reach the City. However this is a very small effort in comparison to the viewz hospitality and stay you get. Hence I will recommend you to book the stay here.

the maintenance of the bedding was not at par. it was stinky because people sweat in bed.
