It was a very brief overnight stay. I arrived late and had to leave early before breakfast was served. I wish I had time to explore the surrounding area more and take a dip in the pool of the facility. Nothing.

Food and wine are excellent. A family setting, very welcoming. You can see that Gilles and Isabelle created a small corner of paradise with much love and dedication. They are professionals and this is reflected in all aspects of the offer. It rained a bit. Really, all good.

It is clean with very delicious home made breakfast that you won’t get elsewhere. It’s super safe. The host and everyone who stayed here is very kind. We stayed 3 nights and eat 3 course dinner there 2 times because the food is better than the restaurants. We are surrounded by beautiful and relaxing view of mountains, lavenders, grape vines, and fruit trees. It’s is a great location, anywhere we go is within a 20 mins drive. The shower is a bit tight but we managed no problem.

We had a lovely stay and would like to thank Isabelle and Gilles for the beautiful location and rooms and for the eccellent cuisine. We really enjoyed dinner, the food was delicious, beautifully prepared, two of the best meals we had during our stay in Provence! The rooms were comfortable, the pool a godsend in this heatwave and the game of boules was fun. We wil certainly recomend Moulin de Lavon and hope to be back one day.

Isabelle is very forthcoming, loved the dinner and she was very understanding even though we didn’t make it easy. The lights went off / the fuse popped in the morning but it added to the experience.

Hidden gem well located in the middle of the Provence. Nice rooms, good breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Don’t miss out on the excellent dinner!

The whole place exudes a real Provençal atmosphere. A spacious garden, a swimming pool, silence and peace - everything is given for relaxation, but at the same time it is a perfect location for exploring the attractions of the Luberon. The breakfast and dinner are fantastic!

The breakfasts were amazing, with an assortment of seasonal fresh fruits, local cheeses, yogurt, croissants and breads, granola and various nuts, coffee and juices. The location was ideal for tourists anting to explore the Luberon valley and was nestled in countryside surrounded by vineyards. When we arrived, we got a very cold reception from the host who acted surprised that we were there. She put us in a room that reeked of urine and said “Oh, maybe the guests before you peed in here”. The next day I asked if someone could please clean the floors and she took care of it. We felt very unwelcome and stayed in our room or left to explore the region the first couple of days. A family from Argentina had the same inhospitable experience and avoided interacting with the proprietors. I worked really hard to engage with our hosts since the whole purpose of our visit was to expose my son to French culture and help him improve his French. They warmed up to us by the end and my son had a fantastic time conversing with other guests over dinner. Giles is an amazing chef and the four course dinners he prepared were a great value. Overall, I’d say it’s a great place for French speaking guests but if you are a novice or don’t speak French, you probably won’t feel very welcome.

We really enjoyed our staying. Dinner was really good and the staff as well. We would recommend it!!

The couple of owners of the hotel welcomed us with sincerity and explained how much they are ready to receive their quests. The hotel is located countryside but not so far from Roussillion. It was kind of the man-owner that he provided us with fried eggs for breakfast addtionally as soon as he was asked. In general more than expectation!

    Good

Great location with reach to nice villages in 10 to 20 minute car drive. Friendly and helpful staff.

Perfect location. The owners are very nice and very helpful. The dinners which have to be reserved in advance are delicious. Breakfast is pretty good. Don't expect a traditional large buffet but there's a good selection of cheese and fresh croissants. Homemade marmalade and extraordinary honey. Dogs are admitted at no extra cost. The shower. Would be nice to have a handler for the shower to enjoy after a long day of sightseeing

This quaint little place has a great location, a rustical feeling, and is just, simply charming. Isabelle and her husband have created a place where you can really feel the warmth of the Luberon. We had to cancel our initial reservation, and they kindly agreed to refund our deposit. (But don’t tell Booking, we swung by anyway). Isabelle’s husband, in his friendly manner came over to our breakfast table, and helped us on the spot to make up an itinerary of the best things to see, and his advice made all the difference. Dinner is really nice. There was no menu, just whatever the trained and delightful cook cooks that evening - and it was marvelous! It is really the quintessential charming vineyard villa, where you have the feeling, this really is the (rural) french way of life. When we come back to Luberon, we want to come back here.
