The property was breathtaking and more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined. I am from California and I have never ever ever seen anything so gorgeous and well put together and clean and pristine. There is nothing to dislike about this property.

The service

Spacious and comfortable rooms, easily accessible and well organised facilities, delicious ayurveda and international cuisine. The pond is perfect for a fresh summer swim in a wonderful natural scenery. They made me pay the full amount of my birthday cake which they forgot about and delivered one day late. I suggested to pay half but they did not agree. There was no shampoo provided in the rooms.

The view was amazing, the spa area was really nice and the swimming pond a great addition. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms are really big. Overall, we had a very relaxing stay. The hotel is marked as a 5-star hotel but on their own website and when we arrived, we could see that it was actually a 4-star hotel. The bathroom was weirdly cut and could have been utilised a better - making one room instead of a closed off shower room and a toilet room. We were a bit disappointed with the food. The quality was really high and the food was delicious, but we had to queue for many things at breakfast and the dinner servings were very small (just remove the buffet and make the actual 3-course meal servings larger). Further, we had to pay for water (except breakfast) as well as coffee in the afternoon for the late lunch/ cake - which should be included. There is also no service at the swimming pond and very limited sun beds and umbrellas. The swimming pond also looked very different than on the pictures - it is probably a mock up before they built it. Finally, the gym was quite small and the ceiling low making it difficult to exercise on the cross trainer when you’re a bit taller. If these things were adjusted we would love to come back but it didn’t feel like good value for money as it is.

Food was amazing, staff so lovely and hotel location so ideal in that it is less than a 5 min walk to the lift.

This place was truely amazing. The hotel itself looks like a beautiful modern castle a bit outside the city of Gerlos, surrounded by snowy plains and mountains. Rooms are surprisingly big, very modern while having a warm wooden touch, very clean, excellent bathroom facilities. Sauna and Swimmingpool are beautiful. Food was exceptional (!). While breakfast and lunch were buffets with a great variety, also for vegans, Dinner was a 5 course menu a la carte - with quality of a Michelin Starred restaurant. I could write an essay alone about the food. Staff was world class - friendly, approachable, compentent. Milan from the Restaurant staff was an exceptional host. Ski lift to Zillertal Arena is one street crossing away from the main entrance. Perfect. Overall, we felt like in a dream - thus I can confirm the name of this hotel being more than accurate. Travelling a lot around the world using hotels, this is one of the Top3 stays in my life. Thank you to the Hollaus Family for creating this beautiful place. We couldnt stay longer. Or live there forever.

everything - the hotel, the location, the cleanliness, the staff the yoga courses hust in german, a little difficult for non german speakers

This family run hotel is amazing with such attention to detail and generosity, spotlessly clean and well loved by the family team, everything was thoughtful from the lemon and lime flavoured water , apple crisps and bowl of figs fruit and nuts in the spa centre to the gift we received of a linen bag of herbs on our leaving. As the only English visitors our menu was translated daily for us and the yoga and therapy team were excellent in ensuring we could take part . The Yoga centre is excellent offering 2 daily sessions of Yoga by highly skilled teachers of classical yoga. These are not exercise classes but a journey into yoga, meditation and teaching from staff taught by Yogi’s. The full Ayurvedic experience of yoga and diet is available alongside massage and consultations from the highly experienced therapy team. The six course evening meal either meat fish or Ayurvedic is fabulous complimented by a Buffet salad bar and ice cream and hot sauces and cheese. Breakfast is hot/cold buffet with a chef to make you an omelette. Lunch is salad bar hot meals and soup … lots of pastries and dessert . The full board option offered is great value. we had the same table each mealtime in the beautiful dining room with mountain views with fresh linen tablecloths napkins and traditional silver cutlery. Our room was large with two TV’s and a sofa , fantastic comfortable bed and top quality pillows and duvet . our view of the mountain , stream and cable cars across the road was great and our balcony large. Delicately scented candles burn throughout the hotel in jars in homage to their Ayurvedic philosophy . nothing
