Relaxed, birds, friendly staff without being nosey. The restaurant has healthy food choices (yogurt, granola, avocado bowl), which is generally difficult to find. The location doesn’t provide much for walking or exploring. You’re pretty much stuck at the resort with a book. No other restaurants nearby.

The location is great with the wildlife and not too far for the beaches. I liked our room even though we had the odd snake and lizard in the room. It just added to the experience. The staff are always so happy and friendly even the gardeners and room cleaners. Always happy to help.The trees and gardens are well looked after. I like the fact the staff reminded us of our booking came with breakfast We didn't realise .thankyou for that also the choice was great. Not having a TV so you could keep up with the news or watch the odd movie when it was raining . Although it's not the end of the world as we didn't come to Bali to watch TV . Some of the wood is rotten and needs replacing as after a rain storm there was a slight smell of damp cotton wood . It wouldn't stop us coming back though.

The rooms were good but not exceptal

Excellent stay here. Rooms are great size, big and as photos show you. The restaurant on site is some of the best food we’ve had so far! Their nasi goreng is delightful. Room cleaned daily. Pool area is immaculate. A very zen, jungle feel place! It’s really far from anything. Not actually sure what else is in the are, so do your research. Would need to use Grab bikes or rent your own scooter from the hotel to get around. We only stayed here to go to the Bali Safari Park.. wouldn’t waste your time. It’s more of a glorified zoo. Great for kids, but really not as described.

Great for a quiet stay,amazing gardens and pool all fresh water

Keramas scared river and retreat had stunning grounds and pool area. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. The staff were fantastic! Little off the beaten track (we had a bike so wasn’t an issue) not many activities on compared to what is shown online. Could have been because of rain or our stay was short.

Breakfast was good but repeatable - not too many options available, especially for kids. The staff was friendly and I got a nice surprise from them for my birthday - a mini cake. I appreciated it. There was construction going on during our stay, so unfortunately when we were next to the pool we couldn't relax because of the noise. Around the pool there was wood with nails sticking out and my kids hurt their feet. Two of us also repeatedly got splinters in our toes that needed to be removed. So overall - not very kid friendly, although the pool was beautiful.

Beautiful place!!! Very far from everything, even delivery is limited but there are a few options.

Let me be honest with you, the staff was pretty friendly, but the location was awful very far from supermarkets, or restaurants every time we wanted to go somewhere we needed to take taxi. Once we went to the nearest beach by walk and on the way back dogs almost run after us. The Internet was terrible always breaking down, the water kept cutting off every day and sometimes could not take shower on time. Oh gush the restaurant was not acceptable, they did not have anything, even coffee, they only served tea and Bali coffee which was good only one time try. Food was not good. Overall, waste of money, the place was suitable for the old as they can just relax by the pool for the whole day ?.

Staff. Pool. Location. Grounds. Time taken to serve meals. Steep steps up to jungle room- maybe should be advised for older folks.

Great Value. Good location. Staff were as always very friendly and helpfull. For me.. the menu choice wasnt so good after 10 days.. but wasnt bad... we just ate out bit more than we usually would in a long stay
