Magatama Villa

Second time’s a charm! This was our second stay here and the views are still as amazing as ever. This time we tried the Suite Pool Room and loved it, the view was incredible. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. That said, if you really want the best experience, i would recommend booking one of the Joglo Villas. We stayed in one before and it remains our favorite. Might just be back again next time!?

The jungle view from the room is beautiful. The villas has been designed traditionally to suit the surrounding nature The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful Hot water supply was unstable. The water pressure was weak. The pool was not completely clean. Given the location of the villa, it’s completely understandable, that there were a lot of leaves in the pool. However a leaf skimmer would be nice

Wow, just wow.... The view of the forest just breath taking. Lots of birds and frogs singing throughout the day and night. Hosts wear top of the shelf. Treated us like we were royals. 10 out of 10. I will definately be returning. The view green plush

The staff was exceptional in taking care of our needs throughout our stay and did the best to make sure that we were comfortable. They also did very well in organising activities for us such as tours, massages, and the flower bath (which was very beautiful!). Nyoman, one of the staff, was very kind and attentive to our needs. He made sure that we were enjoying and learning the local culture in Bali, which is an experience we will never forget. Kudos to Nyoman for his good service ? We also really enjoyed the breakfast every morning, which was always punctual. The villa itself was also very beautiful and comfortable, featuring traditional Balinese designs, overlooking a peaceful jungle view. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in the villa and Bali, and would definitely recommend this resort to other travelers ?

Exceptional place !

The staff were incredible. They went above and beyond. If you needed anything they were there to help. The view from the villa was incredible, it was the best location I have ever had breakfast: The bed was very comfortable and the staff did an amazing job making up the room everyday. Drivers always got lost finding the resort. They would always take a wrong turn. The pool water is a little too cold to use except for when it is a very hot day and the sun shines on the pool.

The villa was awesome! Private pool by the jungle was so calming and peaceful. All the staff were extra helpfu, even the owner. Good worth for the money. The place is a bit secluded, and the food order from the villa closes 8 or 9 pm (if i can remembercorrectly) while the nearby restaurants also takes last order by that time as well. So if you get hungry a bit late at night, you better have brought something with you. And it seems that the outdoor pool has been closed for a long time already, and not temporarily.

Stunning sunrise with pure nature surrounding the villa. Things are so quiet that you can immerse yourself into the beauty of early morning when only you and birds and plants exist. Staff are so helpful, especially the young male staff who carried my heavy luggage. It's super quiet at night. The location is a little far way from the center. It may be difficult to find the property in the first place.

Like you own a presidential Villa that cheer up your spirit.. - Clean, Calm. - Thankful we didn’t see any lizards or insects during our stay. - Perfect private swimming pool and rice terrace views - Perfect bath tub - Good Massage (charged) - Perfect Floating Breakfast (charged) - Staff is very helpful, they also made a birthday cake for our baby boy although his birthday was not in the same day of our stay. - very comfortable bed and bathroom. - They provide whatsapp number for helping anytime.. - Perfect Wifi - Also we forgot something in the hotel, they helped us by transporting it to our near location. - At night, you should be aware that you will hear animals voices as all properties in rice terrace area, but no much fear. - There were spaces in the big door, not fully locked, they have to solve this situation to avoid any kind of fear for their clients so we can sleep well :). - Basically, the swimming pool area was not totally private 100% on morning, that why I give this place 9 not 10, but was not a big deal.

Very friendly staff, perfect view of jungle and silent to rest. Beatiful pool if you want to make pictures but not really for swimming. I liked the hotel because we want to stay a view of a jungle. Rooms are big and clean. Pool can be more clean, breakfast has to be also a little more option and quality.

The property is built in authentic joglo style. The view from the room and the wood work in the room was fantastic. This place is a must stay in Ubud, Bali. Everything was good.
