Gili Beach Bum Hostel

Las camas no tiene cortinas para poder tener un poco de privacidad; al amanecer entra toda la luz y ya no puedes dormir; los locker están en malas condiciones y funcionan con cualquier llave y el desayuno deja mucho que desear.

Has hot water for the shower!!! The bar in front plays music super late and loud so if you aren’t going out that night you won’t be able to sleep until like 1am. But it’s fine if you are out for the night lol. No curtains on the beds.

Great stay at In the Hostel! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a relaxed vibe. Perfect spot to chill and meet other travelers. Would definitely stay again

Beds in my room made really loud popping sound when moving on them.

Good location The slow wifi. Every time you use mobile, you first beed to log on to wifi through captive page pop up which was quite painful. WiFi should be open like other hotels.

Nice common area to make friends during your trip. Host are super nice and friendly. They are also quite informative. Nice breakfast in the morning. The place is very convenient, close to restaurants, cafe, shops and pharmacy. A beachfront hostel where you can find more activities such as boardpaddling, kayaking and snorkling. Nice breakfast around 8.30. The hostel is right in front of Lava Bar that you can visit for a drink and hangout, there will be some more activities at the rooftop bar on the hostel. The host was so nice that we could do early check in. Most of all, I miss those, two cute guardians of the hostel, handsome Puma and Naia (or Nayla?) Hahahaha ?

Loved the activities the hostel did each night and the whole atmosphere was just amazing.

Location and cleanliness (do visit banana cafe near this hostel) Too Noisy at the night because it is very close to the bar.

Clean, good staff, karaoke every night very social If you don’t like karaoke or if you go to sleep early (before midnight), you might gonna find problems to sleep while the bar is open (closes around 0h)

I really enjoyed my stay here! The place is spacious, very clean, and everything is close by, which made getting around super easy. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, but apart from that, it was an amazing stay overall.

It is a party hostel that sometimes can be very loud, but does not pass 00h30. For me that was tolerable, but if you are very picky with this, then you could feel annoyed. I was told that the breakfast begins 8 am, but the kitchen lady just begins setting up things 8h10 am. It seems that in Indonesia this type of delay to open is common, but this can be trouble for those that have early activities like diving.

My stay at Gili Beach Bum was amazing! The room and the facilities were clean, the bed was comfortable and it is convenient that you don’t need to share the room with many people (I shared with two people and the size of the room and the bathroom was more than enough). Also the staff welcomes you and makes you feel at home and comfortable from day 1, they are always there to help you if you need to! The location is also great since it’s close to basically everything! Overall it’s a great place to stay and to meet people if you’re travelling solo (or not) also because they organize many activities. I’d highly recommend!! There is quite some noise, specially at night time because of the bar, the music and activities like karaoke, but this was expected and I had no issues sleeping just putting my ear plugs.

Culture sharing, joy, the bar activities and events... Also the Mosq is like 200m from hostel, for Muslims to pray... Thank you so much! I really appreciated my stay at your hostel. The team was helpful, friendly, and always smiling — which made a big difference. A few suggestions to enhance the experience: Toilets: Since they are shared, they could use more regular maintenance (some doors don’t close properly) and more frequent cleaning — maybe every hour. Staff were very nice and helpful, room are spacious and comfortable. Very close to the harbor so u don't need to walk much. Close to most of places in the island, super good location Party in the hostel finish at 12am so u can rest good.

Fabulous food everywhere I was well aware of the island status as party center and it definitely is that so no complaints I am however in the older category and would go for something more quiet next round but that not a bad thing just my preference

I think they use a kind of product for mosquitos, and I could feel the smell a quite strong inside of the room.
