Alyeska Resort

It was a great stay for out last night in Alaska after a 2 week stay. We drove the next morning to the airport. We had no issues, hotel was clean and beautiful. We had nightcap reservation and took the tram up at 9pm. The only disappointment was that they were not serving the "bar menu" which was why I had made the night cap reservation, we had a very late lunch so we didn't want the dinner menu but it was still good.

Black Diamond was fabulous!

Obviously we really enjoyed the upgraded amenities like the black diamond lounge but the staff were very friendly to make our stay very pleasant.

The hotel building is grand and had all the needed amenities one would expect. The room was very clean and well appointed. Most of the employees we encountered were friendly and hospitable. The restaurants were clean and waitstaff accommodating, though not all were knowledgeable regarding menu offerings and on one occasion our server disappeared. Dine-in food was delicious. However, I did not care for the fact that none of the "things to do" are included for guests. The spa and ski lift tram, bikes etc. are all for fee attractions. The prices were per person and very high, making it disheartening to have to choose what to do for a family with children and ultimately opting to go elsewhere for our adventure. Other than to see it, there is really no benifit to being a guest with this hotel. It was a very expensive room to sleep in for the night. Many hotels offer less expensive rooms AND include bikes, kyaking, saunas, heated showers in the pool room. I can see that staying here in the winter for the sking my have some better benifit.

Very nice property - great location - staff nice and the rooms and views are beautiful- the rooms were better kept than I thought! A little low on staff but it’s not high season apparently….

A/C is centrally controlled by the management, we tried to reach the front desk for multiple hours & finally gave up & found hard to sleep through on a hot sunny day. Needed to reach out to front desk for other issues too but they aren't responsive. The Guest desk phone would just be in engage mode. Disappointed for the service we got for the price paid.

The entire space and campus is perfect. The service and food, the location. We will be back.

Rom was comfortable & clean with a nice view. The property was very peaceful. We would definitely stay again given the chance. Restaurants were okay.

Not a great service at dinner time .Waiter not pleasant wait 10 minutes for a water refill

Had a wonderful time. Room was very clean and comfy, food at restaurants was great, as well as room service. We spent an entire afternoon at the Nordic Spa and loved it.

Our stay at Alyeska was great! This resort has all the amenities that one would need while exploring Alaska. Location was perfect for our stay. My only wish is that the staff would have been a little bit more helpful with the questions that we had about some of our day trips.
