Friendly staff at all times. They are always ready to answer questions or to help out. Guys and lady at breakfast were always polite and very attentive. The best coffee. Best views upon the Pyramids day and night when lit. They couldn't fix the TV. It remained at promises everyday without compliance. Barking of dogs in the middle of the night.

The service was exceptional; the staff is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and dedicated to making you feel at home. Our room was comfortable, clean, and featured reliable air conditioning and hot water. Thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water and coffee in the room, along with free airport pickup, made our arrival seamless. Dining: Breakfast: A generous, filling spread featuring authentic Egyptian staples like fresh bread, falafel, eggplant, eggs, potatoes, and cheeses. Dinner: We highly recommend the mixed grill platter, paired with their incredible fresh lemonade. The Terrace: The views of the Pyramids and the Sphinx are truly spectacular, making it the perfect spot for a cold beer after a day of sightseeing. Noise Levels: Giza is a vibrant, loud area. Between local rave parties and the way the Pyramids reflect sound, it can get noisy at night. Additionally, local dogs may react to fireworks. This is beyond the hotel’s control, so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs to ensure a comfortable stay.

Location is very good. They have suite rooms with great view of the pyramids. Staff are good. Especially those in the restaurant. Nice breakfast. All other rooms are pretty average. A lift with a capacity of two people. We did extend our stay for another day here as couldn’t find any markedly better ones in the nearby area..

Nothing - they overbooked this property and moved us to an alternate that was truly awful. The worst thing was their attitude. The main property near Sphinx gate was overbooked so they moved us to a terrible property that was 1 KM away. This alternate property was not only far but also dirty with rooms that had no windows. Overall, we felt like we were getting scammed …. what an awful welcome to Egypt!

Great view - Amazing. Our shef was a really nice person. Staff at the roof and clean lady were also lovely. Hot shower did not last for 5 min. Drainage was poor. No air conditioner (hot) in winter. At the lobby, the owner was sometimes nice, but other times he shouted very loudly and angrily to someone over the phone. And so I felt like I was in a Japanese Yakuza office. That was quite scary as a Japanese woman. But he gave tasty sweets in the end. Taxi/tour suggestions seemed overpriced. (40USD taxi but on Uber it was 6USD).

I was excited to stay so close to the pyramids. Immediately upon arrival the front desk man tried swindling me into paying more. He charged me extra because we arrived in the night. Obviously scams you for everything. We had our laundry done there which was returned wet. He tried charging me 1800 EGP! Not okay! Then he tried charging me more at checkout for our stay because he provided us “safety”. Outside of the hotel are a lot of skinny horses and camels. These horses and camels stay tied all day unless giving rides. One horse had a large abscess. One of the guests told me she witnessed a man whipping his horse repeatedly when it was down. I will not stay here again. The chef here was excellent and the cleaning ladies. But the front desk man no. Over charging/ scamming Sick/skinny horses/camels out front Front desk man

Airport pick up Free airport pick up as advertised isn’t really free because the driver ended up asking money as “tip”. The bathtub wasn’t usable as the water running out from the faucet was nasty brown color. The lounges are so dusty & they just set up your food on the table without even cleaning first. The area right in front of the hotel entrance are where the camel rides park which means the grounds are full of pee & poop and make the place very stinky.

View of the pyramids from the rooftop, 5 minutes to the Giza Plateau entrance. The hotel is located directly on the area where many animals stand waiting to give rides to tourists, so the entire square smells of urine and excrement, and it is almost always very noisy. It feels like you are living on a livestock farm, as there were even goats present. The hotel room smelled the same. The room facing the square had one narrow window — the balcony door — so essentially the room had no real windows. In the bathroom there was mold and a sewage smell. From the very beginning the owner started with deception, saying that paying by card required an additional $100 commission. When giving change in dollars and Egyptian pounds, he of course cheats with the exchange rate. As a result, the room cost us $175. The owner wanted $300 for a room with a pyramid view, but we looked at it — it was small, and asking that much was robbery. Breakfast in the restaurant consists of three types of food: stewed eggplants, beans, fried potatoes, steamed vegetables, a couple of mini pastries, and an omelet. The same menu every day. A cappuccino is just milk sprinkled with instant coffee. Let me remind you, the room cost $175. We barely went to the restaurant because the waiters constantly demanded tips just for bringing a teabag. It's better not to walk barefoot in the room — the cleaning is very poor. They wash the stairs with one cloth and then use the same cloth to clean your room.

Everything was perfect, the location is highly recomended.

Only the View from the terrace above Firstly, i guess they made a mistake and there was NO room for us. When we arrived, they transfer us 10minutes away in some other "hotel". We have to walk 15-20minutes to get to the Pyramids. They say its the same hotel, just 2 locations (which they didn't say here on the booking). I was with my boyfriend and asked for queen/king bed-they gave us dirty room with two single beds. Asked for somebody to clean the room, the girl that came put the "new" sheets down on the ground and after put on the bed. I had to put towel over pillows. Also, the toilet was not clean/used before, it has strange smell, there was no water presure, we barely managed to take a shower. The beds were with hair fibers, the floor was also covered with dust and a lot of fibers. There was dust everywhere (im not opening mouth about under the beds). There are a lot if other Hotels in the area, at least they could've told us they don't have rooms anymore, or just answer to some of my messages i sended before the trip....Definitely Not recommending..

View was priceless. Shower, ac and wifi weren't good.

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

The location is amazing as far as distance to the Giza pyramids. The roof top deck really lives up to the name of the hotel. As an FYI I am traveling as a solo traveler from the USA and felt safe all the time. Everything regarding tours and guides can be handled at the property. Honestly not much to complain about. If anything the shower drainage isn’t great.

First off, the staff was amazing, the owner was there when we arrived, personally saw to it that we were properly welcomed. They even had some refreshing beverages ready for us as a welcome to our establishment. Then the owner was upfront about the area and its possible issues: You're smack down the touristy area and there will be people trying to sell you their services like camel or horse carriage rides, souvenirs. The hotel does offer most of the same tours and at least you know what you're in for and won't be fleeced with extra charges you weren't aware of like many in the area would try to stick to your excursion. The owner even went as far as offering shuttle ride to various place within the immediate area to make it easy for the guests. The rooms were spacious, we had a suite for our family of 4. It had a Jacuzzi but we didn't try it. We did try the breakfast next morning and it was savory and filling. Also, the staff there was very helpful and attentive. We stayed one night, so we did take advantage of their airport to hotel shuttle, with a cost. That cost is free if you are staying for 2+ nights. The driver went beyond by actually acting like a mini guide, making sure to point out various points of interests along the way, even making sure to slow up and stopping if I needed to take pictures. We even stopped at a papyrus factory along the way since we were curious about how ancient Egyptian made the OG paper. Wife was very tired so we didn't stay long there. All in all, great establishment if you are looking to be withing the vicinity of the pyramid with a killer view. Nothing stood out that we had issues with.
