Staff were so welcoming and accommodating nothing was a hassle. Receptionist on check in was really informative and gave us maps and overall really helpful. We had an issue with our remote control for the tv when we arrived and it was sorted straight away. The room was over very quiet and check out was 12pm which was great The place is a little run down but I didnt mind too much. The water pressure and shower was great. The bed wasn't the best and pillows where poor but we both slept well.

It is right across the street from Central station. There is lots of shops, restaurants, bars, etc all in walking distance. You can tell this was previously a run down hotel that has been upgraded. Mostly with good results. The decor is more modern, new and sturdy doors, large clean towels in the bathroom and great water pressure. I thought the beds were going to be uncomfortable but I slept fine. Most amazingly, there was almost no noise heard from the outside. It’s in a busy street in a very busy area, so I was expecting lots of street noise. It wasn’t surprisingly quiet! The first is not a big deal, unless you are short like me. I am 5feet tall and trying to get in and out of the shower was a challenge. I felt like I needed a step stool. Just be careful getting in and out. Could have been unique to the room we were in though. Second, the blanket on my bed had a stain that was not great and the floor was dirty. And not just because the carpet was old and carrying the dust of the past. I had blisters, and when I took off the plasters on my feet, they fell on the floor. When I pick it up, the sticky side was covered in dark straight hair. My son and I have strawberry blond hair that is curly. It wasn’t like a couple hairs either, the plaster looked like it had a toupee.

Location, clean, nice room, staff were helpful and friendly Across the street was a bar that played loud music until 11.00 pm even with the windows and curtains closed and my hearing aids out I could still feel the thumping.
