The staff was extremely friendly.

Clean, well maintained, central location for wine country, free parking, breakfast, happy hour and pool. Nice to just stay and relax, no reason to really go anywhere, except for meals.

We liked that we requested and received a quiet room, # 7. The hospitality of the staff was wonderful. The afternoon wine & cheese gathering, the lovely breakfast room and selection, and of course, the homemade chocolate chip cookies were delightful. The grounds and pool area were very relaxing. And the location was perfect for our planned activities. We stayed in Room 7. The worse problem was the mattress and bed frame. The bed mattress was too soft for us. It felt like sleeping on down-stuffed pillows, rather than a supportive, comfortable mattress. We did not sleep that well. The steel bed frame with sharp corners protruding past the mattress was awful and hazardous. I clobbered my shin 3 times, before I thought to pad the frame with one of the extra pillows. Also, it was a pain to have the bed so low to the floor. As an older guest, the extra effort to get up from the bed was an unpleasant reminder of getting older, and of course, older people often have to get up more often during the night. We only learned at Checkout, that some rooms have more standard beds. We would have reserved a room with a standard bed if we had known that was an option. Here are a few other suggestions that would be easy to implement that I would have much appreciated. Other than the single hook on the back of bathroom door, there were no pegs or towel racks for hanging up robes or drying towels. We came to breakfast around 8:30am. The coffee carafes did not keep the coffee Hot. They both served luke warm coffee. I like to add milk, so then my coffee was even cooler. Perhaps invest in some much better insulating carafes or heated dispensers.

Excellent breakfast; the suite rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We stayed in the Zen Garden Suite and it was very zen indeed. Loved the bathroom and the little Japanese stone garden in our suite.

The Gaige House was gorgeous! A huge old home that has been beautifully remodeled and includes outside guest cabins/rooms. Immaculately clean and maintained in an incredible setting, Very serene and quiet and the breakfast and wine receptions were delicious! We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful 3-night stay in the Gaige Suite. The room was outstanding. Huge bathroom and private deck were great features. Pool was small but heated, quiet, and never busy. Breakfast was outstanding and the wine tasting every evening was a highlight. Also loved the fresh cookies every day. Perfect location in Glen Ellen and a short drive to either Sonoma or Santa Rosa. Highly recommend

Beautiful stay. Highly recommend if you are looking for a low key weekend and way to unplug. The property is small but very beautiful.

Room ver clean, very quiet, staff was very nice and professional

We had a wonderful time. The staff were so friendly, the room was incredible, and we just loved the vibe of Glen Ellen as a whole so it was an excellent location too. Honestly, not much. I'd probably say the breakfast is lacking but that's about it. Not really a problem considering everything else and breakfast was still nice - just perhaps not what you'd expect given the cost (but you're paying for the room and other facilities anyway).
