Dedeminn Marina Hotel

The best part was the staff and the location. The women that run this business are attuned to every detail and extremely service oriented. They’re happy to help with any traveling needs and are very warm and friendly. It makes it feel like a home away from home.

Breakfast was fantastic, and location couldn't be better, very close to the water. Kids loved the pool. Very friendly staff.

Location was great. Loved the balcony overlooking the marina. Could be a little loud at night, but it wasn't too bad. Rooms were good and there's a lot of space. Staff felt a little rude during check-in and was disorganized. The place was also surprisingly barren. We had to keep going down to reception to get basic things like soap or utensils. There's a full kitchen but no kitchen supplies...

The whole room is due to some deep clean, especially bathroom has seen better days. Interior is dated and overall there is an impression of “messy” and not high level of upkeep. The price point is high so we’d expect slightly more luxury. Breakfast was OK but products very specific to local taste (I guess that for us to get used to local cuisine). Not great coffee and juices. No parking options which makes it hard to load abd unload luggage. There’s is also no lift and you have to climb lots of stairs with luggage.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The location is excellent—close to everything we needed.

It is a perfect location right in the city centre and close to restaurants, cafés and the marina. The hotel is on top of a supermarket and right outside there is a taxi rank. That can be handy. Breakfast was very average and had already been put on a plate waiting there for me. The supermarket’s A/C downstairs was pretty noisy for a good night’s sleep. In my opinion it was not worth the price of 153 Euro per night for a standard single room.

On my first night there were flashing Xmas lights plugged in a socket in my bedroom which kept me awake. I finally found the plug and unplugged them at 04.00. The second night sleep was fine

Location is great. The balcony view is amazing! Apartment is big and light. All was good.

Lovely central location and great that you can use the pool by the marina . Helpful staff The room we booked was lovely but we asked to move to another room as the air conditioning unit belonging to the grocery store next door near the window was loud when in and we thought it would disturb our sleep. Helpful staff sorted out a different room

Location of the hotel to facilities within Gocek and wide range of restaurants and boats, etc. There is a swimming pool nearby that hotel guests can use free of charge which is a nice touch. The air con in the room was quiet and efficient Liked the extras in the room such as the slippers and body scrub mitts and the free bottled water when you have your room serviced Really liked Gocek as a resort and the sailing/beach excursion options available Before booking, I don't recall seeing stated anywhere that the only access to the hotel is via a staircase (one to the pedestrian street side and one to the marina side) and there is no lift. This meant we had to carry our own suitcases into and out of the hotel as there was just a receptionist so no one capable of helping us with this. This is a very important fact and should be clearly stated when advertising the hotel. I felt our bathroom was a bit 'tired', i.e. the grouting around the shower made the bathroom look dirty and was a disappointment. I think the bathroom could do with being updated.
