We stayed at Villa Svetoni for a week in early July, and it was everything we hoped for in a Tuscan getaway. As a small boutique resort, it offers an intimate and peaceful atmosphere while delivering a truly luxurious experience. Our loft-style room was impeccable, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. From the restored architecture and authentic Tuscan character to the premium amenities, every detail felt thoughtfully curated. It was exactly what you would envision for a stay in the heart of Tuscany. The pool elevated the experience even further. Set among olive trees, it was both beautiful and tranquil. The loungers were generously spaced, allowing for plenty of privacy, and the attentive poolside service ensured we were always well taken care of. The hospitality deserves special recognition and simply cannot be overstated. Every member of the team was genuinely kind, welcoming, and eager to help. Whether we needed recommendations for wineries, restaurants, or nearby towns, they always took the time to offer thoughtful suggestions with genuine enthusiasm. Their warmth and sincerity made us feel less like guests and more like friends, and it was the defining part of our stay. The location is another major strength. Villa Svetoni is just a short drive from Montepulciano, and visiting the town truly completes the Tuscan experience. It is also conveniently located for exploring other charming hill towns, vineyards, and excellent restaurants throughout the region. Honestly, we struggled to find anything to criticize. Everything—from the accommodations and amenities to the service and location—was exceptionally well executed.

Maria was so helpful and made our stay memorable!

During our two week Italy vacation, we were only able to stay one night here. I wish we would’ve stayed longer. The scenery, ambiance, staff and the amenities were amazing. We are definitely going to come back.

Service, location, the premises. Nothing.
-
Serenely beautiful and elegant. Warm staff with much care
-
WiFi was very spotty in the room, location on a main road, can hear traffic while sitting by the pool. Can’t hear it in the Garden or rooms at all.
-
What can I say, every aspect of this stay was bellissimo ? Maria was exceptional in her service and communication, I felt very welcome at all times. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, I cannot fault the room, food or service 10/10 ?

The rooms were very clean and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. It was a bit isolated. Definitely suggest having your own means of transportation.

Before we even arrived, the staff communicated with us about our stay to make sure everything was perfect upon arrival. Attentive. Accommodating. I could not have asked of a better experience.
-
The temperature in the room was not controlled inside the room, breakfast was limited to pastries basically
-
The shower is way too complicated to operate

I only stayed at for a day, but it was wonderful. The room was spotless and cozy, perfect for a quick rest. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making even a short visit feel special. I wish I could’ve stayed longer — highly recommend!

The staff were very nice. There were some things I found absurd. We paid over €400 a night for one room, and breakfast was very limited, with an overcharge of €8 per person for a small portion of scrambled eggs. On the first morning of our stay, we arrived at breakfast and it was over. I looked at the watch and it was 10:00. Breakfast is until 10, which I would take to mean I can arrive there until 10:00, as I did. The kitchen could not open again, they said, so we were given the breakfast option without extras. On the next day we learned this just meant "the breakfast option", as extras have to be paid separately (such as simple scrambled eggs at €8 per person!). The breakfast they offer is just bread, a small plate with a tiny pastry filled with cream, a browned, and a slice of pie. A small portion of plain yogurt and a tiny cup od fresh fruit. One person in our party was gluten free, and all they offered was a pre-package, a pre packaged slice of lemon cake, and pre packaged bread. Even the little plate with marmalade and butter was in tiny portions. I would have expected to have a better offer for a place with this price. Usually I am offered gluten free croissants warmed up at the moment, gluten free granola, or eggs and bacon, but not for an overcharge, especially when the price was already frankly quite high (€400+ per night for 1 room), and the room did not justify it. Very disappointing; very overpriced

We had a lovely stay! We did an amazing tour of the property and wine tasting with Ivan, who taught us so much! And lunch at Osmosis was amazing. -

Everything was beautiful here! The building was carefully renovated, adding modern comforts while preserving the natural structure of the building. We especially loved the very comfortable beds, the in-house spa, the delightful and helpful employees and the delicious breakfasts that you enjoy while admiring the gorgeous Tuscan countryside,. The villa is located in a picturesque vineyard and easy to find. From here it is a short trip to Cortona, Montepulciano and Pienza. Thank you for everything! We will defintely be back! There was nothing not to like.
