Super 8 by Wyndham Grand Junction Colorado

Noticed there was some peeling by the sink in the bathroom on the wall that needs to be addressed, Otherwise, all was good!

This place is okay for the price. I stayed in it twice…there and back for my road trip. It’s old and has plumbing issues. I couldn’t pull the knob up on the shower all the way so took a half-pressure shower, and then left it up because it was too hard to push back down. In my first room the toilet took several minutes for the fill valve to shut down. Electrical outlets that are loose and hard to access. A rainstorm leaked water into the common area. It’s clear the maintenance staff is not knowledgeable, in fact it looked like the front desk person was also the ad hoc maintenance man. But, you get what you pay for! Also scratchy towels.

Hair in bathtub was a bit of a turnoff. Breakfast was minimal. Would not stay again. You get what you pay for and this place was inexpensive.

I liked that there was gas stations close by as well as decent restaurants.

The location was okay, the room was relatively clean. Almost the entire entrance was occluded by air conditioning units being cleaned. Upon entering the building the lobby smelt very strongly of body odour. The elevator up to the room was very old and did not seem to function well. The general atmosphere was very dingy. The room was very outdated but relatively clean, the air conditioning unit was so overpoweringly loud I turned it off. The ceiling was so thin the guests above me kept me up all night stomping around. I felt very unsafe here and would not recommend it.

Room was clean, hallway carpets were stained, Breakfast was basic, no eggs, sausage, or hash browns.

Clean, quaint, affordable. Did the job.

Staff was great, really went out of their way to make this dingy motel a pleasant stay. Was not the cleanest, freshest motel I have ever stayed in but was fine for an overnight stop. Cold shower in the morning but they apologized and gave me breakfast even after it had closed.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. The room was not as clean as it should have been. There was left over trash in the room and tables not wiped clean.

Poorly maintained, breakfast was fine. Not so clean.

It served its purpose of having a place to sleep, but I will not be returning.

Nice stay. Very convenient and close to everything!

Problems: needs lots of TLC and remodeling. Worn and torn carpets. Two light bulbs burnt out or missing in our room. Noisy AC which made it hard to sleep. Bathroom ceiling was cracked and patched up. Bfast? Bananas and apples were good. Next time we will spend more $$$ to get a good nights sleep and more attractive and cleaner environment.

Location The toilet was not secure to the floor and was very low to the floor. The pillows were basically none existent. Bed side lamp did not work and the power strip is a fire hazard.

Everything was perfect but the room carpet so old and dirty make but smells when you get there!
