I really liked how close we were to the amazing indoor water park. The location was perfect, and the hotel itself is lovely. It looks like a regular hotel from the outside, but when we got to our room, we found a glue trap for rats under our pull-out sofa. We spotted the rat trap under our pull-out sofa, which made my boys a bit uneasy about sleeping on it, so they ended up sleeping with me in the main bed. It wasn’t quite the cozy setup we had in mind.

The room itself was a King Suite and fairly spacious. The bathroom door was pretty tight and opened into the toilet area, which didn’t leave much of any room to move around when coming out of the shower. We had some issues with noise, but after a few days the hotel was able to assist with switching our room. They have coffee in the lobby that is available 24/7, but the clerk told us that it sits there all day, so it isn’t fresh later in the day. The pool was on the backside of the property, so there was no sun earlier in the day. This was great since the weather was so hot when we traveled in July. The hotel was nicer than we expected. No issues with bugs. Some of the staff members seem burnt out or just aren’t a good fit for customer service. I will say that the female front desk clerks, the cleaning staff, and the manager, Lea, were all nice to interact with. Lea went above and beyond to get our stay back on track. We stayed during the madness of FIFA in Texas and the 4th of July holiday was during our stay, as well. Overall, it was a quiet, clean, safe location with great breakfast and a nice pool. The common areas were family friendly. The onsite laundry room was really helpful, too.

Absolutely love the free laundry. Breakfast was the usual, nothing special but they did keep it stocked very well and kept the area clean. All staff was friendly.
