Hampton Inn Harrisburg/Grantville/Hershey

This is my second time staying at the hotel. It's in a good location, about 15 minutes away from all the attractions. The building is clean, the room was comfortable, and the staff were nice in the few interactions we had. Free parking and included breakfast are always a plus! We were only there for 1 night on a girls trip, but the three of us said we would stay again. The elevators seem like they could use a good maintenance check. The one was very loud, like it was grinding gears and the other one just seemed off. Our room door gave us trouble also. It wouldn't open without giving some force after using the card and you had to really pull it for it to shut when leaving. Pillows weren't the most comfortable.

There is no TVs working when I’m talked to the front desk. She was very rude to me. Her name was Emily. She said why don’t you try unplugging it and plugging it back in we have cable very rude about it. Come to find out. No one‘s TVs were working. The sink in our bathroom was never cleaned. There was still toothpaste in the sink on the outside of the sink, the room smell of cigarettes and there was so much garbage outside the perimeter two cement benches by the front desk there had to be over 500 cigarette butts on the ground just laying there walking around the building to go to my car, broken lights off the side of the building laying weeds everywhere garbage could not believe the condition of the property and that they have no time to clean up all of this garbage just laying around front desk, desperately needs training and customer service and being kind just very disappointed and we will not be staying here again tried reaching out to a manager no response

Hotel was dirty, no body wash in room and when asked they said it’s been back ordered and they don’t have any. Horrible stench at breakfast

Clean room, comfy space

It was clean, comfortable, and refreshing. Not to far from Hershey Park The hotel fire alarm going off in the early morning not once but twice. Scared us half to death and there was no instruction or reason provided to us either time. I believe the first was approximately 520am next was about 615am. I cannot get up quickly because of Health conditions and doing that twice in a short period of time really messed up my families whole day. When I get up quickly from sleep my Vertigo and equilibrium is off all day. Our day at Hershey Park was not fun at all. I was vomiting and dizzy all day and had to come back early to hotel, ruined our whole trip from Buffalo, NY to spend 2 days in the park that ended up only being one day due to being awaken in such a fashion that is NOT normal. With getting no explanation to why or what caused it until my husband inquired about it was definitely disheartening because of the money and time we spent getting there and getting our vacation cut short.

Unfortunately there was an alarm that went off around 5:30am and then again around 6:45 am, which really interrupted our sleep. Everything else was great.

Our only complaint would be that the air conditioner fan was too loud.

Clean room and bathroom. Hotel manager/staff was efficient, courteous and readily accessible for any questions I had. Would stay here again.

Great location right off highway

everything was just fine- only issue is none of the ice machines were hooked up.

No noises at 10 The breakfast area was not kept clean

The front desk was so helpful and the hotel was extremely clean.
