O.Henry Hotel

We had an excellent stay the O.Henry Hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Bose sound system in the room was an added bonus. I would definitely be willing to stay here again when in the area.

I like the overall facility and the staff. Location is perfect first class experience overall. Worth the add spend. Enjoy

We've stayed there numerous times over the years and will continue to do do. Every aspect is top notch from the staff to the smallest details.

The bed sheets were ripped and tattered with multiple holes. The quilt looked like a well worn mattress pad. I informed the front desk

The O’Henry was such a superb hotel. It was clean, smelled great, staff was attentive and polite. I knew this place had good reviews but the pictures don’t do it justice. It is beautiful.I highly recommend this hotel!

We had a lovely time at our stay at the O. Henry. The staff is attentive. The soaking tub is great and they have a nice tray across. We got to eat dinner at the restaurant the Green Valley Grill and it was delicious. At the pool they can bring food and drinks out to you when you order from the phone that's poolside. Room service for breakfast was also great. The lobby was already booked for tea, but we will have to do that another time.

The entire property is exquisite, and honestly, it kept making us question whether we were still in Greensboro, North Carolina… lol! Everything felt thoughtfully done, relaxing, and high-end. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway experience. If I had one con, it was the size of the outdoor pool. I wish it were larger.

Awesome but need water pressure in the shower

The bed was surprisingly uncomfortable given the room rate.

Rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. Little seating areas and water/drink stations at the end of the hallways are a nice touch. The other amenities are fine but not worth writing home about (small but functional gym and small pool with towels and comfortable seating). The star is the traditional design of the lobby where they also host afternoon tea (reservations required) and jazz nights. The single-biggest downside was the somewhat underwhelming service. The check-in was efficient but not exceptionally friendly (eg, no offer of any information about the hotel or anything else, despite being first-time guests). Similarly, the front desk was available but not really friendly or committed to helping as you would expect from this category of hotel. Just a couple of examples: (1) when calling to ask for 2 additional bathrobes (as we only had 2 in the room and they only fit the kids), we were told they „had to check“ whether that was possible and never heard back. (2) when kindly asking whether the 12noon check-out time had any flexibility, we were plainly told „no“ (without asking whether even 15mins could help us out) TLDR: very charming hotel we would be happy to stay at again, but fell short of expectations on guest services

Had a wonderful stay! The hotel was nice and very clean, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, and the pool was absolutely amazing! I checked in on a Thursday and to my surprise, it was jazz night every Thursday I walked into a whole vibe! It made the experience even more special. We truly enjoyed our time and will definitely be visiting again.

It was a beautiful property. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully appointed. Staff was excellent.

Great hotel

Everything was amazing, restaurant, bar etc. the only thing lacking was chairs around the pool

This is a beautiful hotel with clean, nicely appointed, spacious rooms and very accommodating staff. The lobby area is exceptional and the attached bar and restaurant are also top notch. Good location, minutes from downtown. We were attracted by the large shopping center next to the hotel, but it's one where cars can drive throughout, so not very pedestrian friendly. Also, it's quite a jumble of stores without consistent architecture or design, so not very appealing.

We were just in town for a quick overnight stay. The hotel was well maintained and very clean. All of the staff were super courteous. We very much appreciated the extra large bathroom/dressing area with plenty of mirrors, outlets, etc. Upon arrival guests were enjoying afternoon tea in the lobby. Would love to come back to experience that.
