Quality Inn & Suites Coliseum

I rarely write a review this harsh, but the condition of our hotel room was completely unacceptable. The bathroom was especially disturbing. There was an insect on the counter, debris and hair left in the sink, filthy and discolored caulking around the tub, dark grime in the corners, and walls with cracked and peeling paint. The non-slip surface in the bathtub was so dirty and discolored that I did not feel comfortable standing on it. The toilet was even worse. The bowl had heavy brown staining, and the entire toilet **rocked when you tried to sit down on it.** That is not simply unpleasant—it is a maintenance and safety issue. This was not just an older or dated hotel room. There is a difference between age and neglect. Dirt, grime, deteriorating surfaces, poor maintenance, and questionable sanitation are not acceptable. We paid for a clean, sanitary room where we could comfortably sleep, shower, and use the bathroom. That is the bare minimum a hotel should provide. I took photographs because describing the condition without them might sound exaggerated. Unfortunately, it is not. This room should have been taken out of service, deep-cleaned, repaired, and inspected before another guest was given a key. **Unacceptable, unsanitary, poorly maintained, and absolutely not what we paid for.**

The property was deceiving but it’s larger than expected! Parking was in front of the apartment! It makes it easier to get into the place quickly They offered breakfast and the check in and out were quick. The apartment was large and had everything one would need! I will be returning on my next trip to North Carolina

Check in clerk was amazing. Room has some bits of trash on the desk and the bathroom floor and the desk was sticky. The travel size bottled in the bathroom looked like there had been previously used. Did not use breakfast as we had to leave at 3 a.m. to return for existing appointment.

I felt unsafe. People loitering near the parking area. Marijuana smell was everywhere even in the halls. I was there maybe one hour and I left. The clerk was friendly. Everything else was bad.

Everything is good, but why they return to me only $85 for two room? instead of $100.

I liked the room and the beds were comfortable. The stairwell smelt like a porta-potty

Good location exceptional staff, breakfast had a variety of items. The rooms did not have USB connection for some of my needs.

Christi is very nice (front desk staff). Weird and strong smell in hallways, loud AC that brought that smell into the room, not well vacuumed floor, upholstered chair that probably has a microcosm of bacteria and was slightly moist when I sat on it, mediocre mattress, discoloration in the shower that could be from mold, lobby locks to guests after a certain hour so the only exit is in the stairwell and no way to get to the lobby other than going outside and then in the front entrance, and wall/ceiling was leaking a waterfall of water from rain outside. Overall very bad experience.

My stay was ok…meaning definitely not the best maintained property, until 5:15 am a bug was crawling in the bed! We immediately dressed and left!!!

This hotel is conveniently located close to the venue we attended but… the hotel is in desperate need of updating. There were no beverages other than coffee at the complimentary breakfast. The juice machine was broken and I felt like they could have offered complimentary bottled water.

Proximity to shopping and restaurants. The fridge needed a defrost and had nearly no space. The remote didn’t do much besides change channels and volume. When the cleaner changed out towels, they smelled like cigarette smoke, making the entire room smell like smoke.
