Residence Inn by Marriott Greenville

Breakfast is always good for these types of hotels. Gym was very weak vs. other RI we have stayed at. Issues with coffee replacement in room and inconsistent room cleaning. Overall good stay. This time bed was not as comfortable though which took away from sleep and comfort. AC had issues too. More like a 3star this time.

The property is quite rundown. Had to switch rooms due to faulty AC I had never experienced to have staff put their hands on a guest and be disrespectful, and not leave until manager was involved but this happened at this stay. There were no visible bowls at breakfast - I got a bowl from a cabinet above the oatmeal station which was promptly snatched out of my hands and out back on the shelf by Natasha (contaminated). She would not walk away from my family and got verbally confrontational and continued putting her hands on me. The property has an external company on site that’s supposed to help them with turning it around - that’s how badly they are failing the Marriott brand. I have not received a resolution.

Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was delicious and filling. And I can't speak highly enough of the staff. They were wonderful throughout our stay, answering our questions and helping us navigate breakfast options with some known food allergies. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Stayed here a lot as my son plays football at Furman. Hotel has great beds but outside isn’t as clean and neat as it once was. Also lots of trash in hallways.

What I really love about the property is that it was close to everything, like shopping, food, and even entertainment. My room wasn’t fully cleaned when I first arrived, but I spoke to the assistant manager and the cleaning lady on my hall, and my room was cleaned immediately.

Nice hotel I was double charged I had already paid for the room online and was told I needed to use a card their for damages if any was no problem then realized next day they charged me full price of the stay to my card. Went and spoke to person at the desk said they was reversing it and money would be back on my card next day still haven’t received the money called and talked to the hotel operator and she informed me they never canceled or changed anything so I basically got ripped off 200 dollars extra for hotel room.

Must have been an off day considering the other reviews. Where do I start? When I first walked in both the kitchen and bathroom floors were incredibly sticky. There were a lot of dark hair clippings all over the counter along with a used Q tip. There was a dirty sock beside the couch, there was a used diabetic test strip on the counter of the kitchen and there was a bottle of vitamin drops in the bed! Made into the bed, it couldn’t have been washed. Also the room hadn’t been vacuumed. A very poor experience.

Excellent location, great rooms, and amazing staff. Andrew at the front desk was superb as always! We met him the first time we stayed there and he went out of his way to make our trip comfortable. As soon as we walked through the door this week, he remembered us and was once again, very accommodating. Thank you Andrew, from the Golden Girls!
