Hyatt Place Denver Tech Center

Staying here twice, weeks apart - made me know these issues are ongoing, not just a bad weekend I've stayed at many Hyatts and usually they are great. This one was not. The elevators smelled horrible, BOTH times, a mixture of rotten and old man cologne, one was out of service the first stay, and every time we were nervous that they wouldn't work, doors barely opened, and were jerky when they did. We were on the top floor, and still tried to use the stairs. Our shower/bathtub wouldn't drain at all, either time. The thermostat basically didn't work, didn't change regardless of the setting we put it on. It was sooooo hot and stuffy in the room. BOTH times. Breakfast, gross eggs (worse than usual for hotel eggs) and very little fresh food, fruit that was old and over ripe, no other options - NO COFFEE out for guests early in the am. Ice on only two floors, not convenient and one wasn't operational. Bathroom in the lobby also not very clean and again smelled weird, twice. Parking filled up so quickly, we had to park in the parking lot next door, wasn't sure if I was allowed to, but did. Gym is small but good. We didn't use the pool. Front desk staff was nice.

The room was clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Could not be happier with our stay, and will definitely come back

Property wasn’t dirty but the first night we had ants in our room. We didn’t notice until the morning. We couldn’t move rooms until 1pm. Jon at the front desk was very helpful with switching us rooms however. Room service only comes every 3 days so when I went to the front desk to get towels they were out of the small towels.

Very noisy during the day due to kids soccer team present . But calm during the the evening. Need a special staff to manage the wet floors due to swimmer coming in and out of the pool.

Very bad Oder in room and pool. The pool was yellow. The breakfast food was cross contaminated

Nice rooms and staff. I found it difficult to find a good cell phone signal in the building.

Easy location for driving around Denver. The room was clean and perfect for 2 people. Great layout with kitchenette and sitting area. Good breakfast.

Nice, well maintained property. Unfortunately, they couldn’t check me in early, because they were booked up. Breakfast was very good. Didn’t like paying $15 for parking.

Nice and clean. The only issue was that the A/C unit smelled like mildew. It worked great but the smell was a little off putting.

The hotel is very nice, updated and clean. Quick check in and friendly staff. The complientary breakfast was good, with plenty of choices and options. We enjoy the yogurt with fresh berries and seasonal fruit. The was very clean and spacious for myself and 2 teen boys. We really enjoyed our stay. I wish we would've used the pool because it looked really nice but we never did swim during our trip. Parking was fine and convenient. There are a few restaurants nearby and also a grocery store a few blocks away.

We needed to stay here after moving from another state into CO and wow were we impressed. The staff, room and food were impressive. We had a large dog with us and the room we were provided was very accommodating and cleanly. We highly recommend!!!!

Staff here are wonderful! Enjoyed eating onsite. The hotel was immaculate, our room was great. And plenty of parking.
