The doors especially toilet door are old and hard to close. The rooms are not sound proof at all and we can hear people talking loud and clear from next door. The room walls are dirty and old, should consider refurnishing the rooms.

The location is pretty good- a short walking distance along the river to Shamian Island and is well connected to the Metro Line 6 and 8. The rooms are rather pragmatic but spacious. The beds are pretty hard, probably not for everybody.

I like the staff there. They could also speak abit of English. They were kind, helping and polite. When having any trouble like in the case of wifi, room cleaning etc. Theres no such delay of helping us. Staffs are unbelievable. I dont find any moody staff while i was there. I also like the location, its very near to the market. Food street is also very near, you just have to cross the street and there's a lane of different kinds of Chinese food. Its such a convienient place to stay! I truly recommend it. I would definately stay here again as soon as i get back to Guangzhou. There's a mosquito in the room and the hotel sometimes smells abit bad. But this is not a bad side. The Wifi sometimes needs some patience?
