The room was well furnished with three beds, Breakfast, location was perfect. Not much perfect for family get-together

I had an overall pleasant stay at Guangzhou Timmy Hotel. The hotel is well‑located, making it convenient to get around the city, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well‑maintained. Housekeeping did a good job, and the staff were polite and helpful whenever assistance was needed. The check‑in process was smooth, and the general atmosphere of the hotel was quiet and relaxing, which made it easy to rest after a busy day. Overall, Guangzhou Timmy Hotel offers good value for money, and I would still recommend it, especially for travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. The only downside for me was the breakfast, which did not quite meet my expectations in terms of variety and taste. Aside from this, everything else about the stay was enjoyable.

Small and nice

In general the room was great however you need to watch for bathroom water overflow. After the shower use , the tiles around are very slippery.

Super convenient location close to metro stations and many shopping malls. The rooms are clean and spacious with nice city views and the staff is very friendly.

Location -well for a mega City I guess was pretty central. Good thing Transport is really cheap so taking a taxi will not break your budget Staff helpful-some even with good knowledge of English not that it matters having translator on your phone 4 shopping malls for spending wives no privacy in the room -no sliding curtain and no door. Shower had a door-mystery door -to the corridor -did not give impression of secure but saying this China is very secure so not a real issue

Exceptional

The location is good with 2 metro lines, walking distance to and from the hotel. The triple room was not to my expectation. The triple room picture on the website is different with the one I had. The 3rd bed is near to the sink, door, facing the big mirror, toilet and shower. It is very inconvenient. Chinese do not like to sleep facing the big mirror.

The internet is still quite poor. They no longer offer breakfast so that should be removed from the filter. This is not a 4 star hotel more like a budget hotel. The lobby is now found by going into what seems like an alley and up an elevator. I've stayed before so I could find this but it would be quite difficult for any other foreigner.

Get off at the metro station called shipaiqiao, take exit D, then turn left, and immediately left again - small alley between a sports field and the hotel building. Go inside the lobby, take an elevator to the 7th floor, reception is there. They don't really speak English. If you're coming from the airport you need to change trains even though it looks like one line, but it's on the same platform - 1 stop before last. Journey takes up to an hour. If you want to be in the modern part of the city, with direct subway to the tower and river parts, this is a good spot. Comfortable bed, it was nice to have both the shower and bathtub included Room was nice, bathroom a bit outdated bit still nice. Towels, toiletries, kettle, water etc are included (but no tea or coffee) Ac didn't work for me, but I didn't need it in March. Wifi has protections against VPN The room smelled like smoke and had an ashtray in it. Windows were very dirty, but the room was clean They asked me to pay at the reception, eventhough booking charged me already, after I showed it to them, they released the funds.
