Extremely satisfied with the stay. Location is great, breakfast is good, rooms are clean. All the staff that I have interacted with have been friendly and great, with a special acknowledgement for Sonia for being great to talk to and ask about cultural questions. If I ever return to Guangzhou, I would gladly stay here again The only minor issue I had was that the sink cap in the room's bathroom could easily get stuck, hovewer this would be promptly fixed by the room cleaners

A very good hotel, very friendly staff (Sonia is excellent, speak English, very helpful), very good breakfast. many small shops/eateries around. 12 minutes walk to the underground (Taojin station), provided you are not lost in the maze of streets.. but, after 1 walk, everything is clear. Would stay there again for sure. As mentioned in other reviews, a construction work is undergoing in front of the building, but it was not an issue for me, the windows are well sound-proofed.

Staff was friendly Staff was friendly and that was the only positive part. Everything else was disappointing. The rooms are old, the wall paint is damaged from moisture, and there is a construction site working 24/7. They use perforators, so you can imagine how loud it gets. It was a disaster. But again, the staff was good.
