Well priced and in a reasonable location for what I was after. The room was pretty good, nice bed and ensuite. It took a very long time for the reception staff to find my booking although I had the email confirmation. I was starting to get worried that they did not have a room for me. Then a second person arrived at reception, they found the booking, and all progressed as expected. Room was quite dusty under the tables, could have done with a more thorough clean. No fridge in room.

the staff speaks English and is friendly, good value for money at this period of the time (Canton fair), super comfy bed, I had a good sleep, quite comfortable if you spend nights only at the hotel.

Just a short walk from the Metro down a quiet street full of restaurants, and just a few subway stops from a variety of historic sites and attractions. Good room service. Decent price for the location. Extraordinary noise all night, every night from construction/demolition behind the hotel that seems to only be noticeable from inside the rooms. Rooms smell like cigarettes and most guests chain smoke. Was moved to another room mid-stay due to hotel overbooking guests, which happened to other guests as well. Shower head in the second room broke the first time I turned the water on.

Terrible support from Booking.com..! Hotel management didnt allow me to stay despite having a confirmed booking, said they allotted my room to someone else and offered me a terrible alternative. On top of that Booking.com didn't reply at all despite multiple tries. Will never book again on Booking.com

There is a construction site just behind my room, and it seems like the site works 24 hours a day.

Nice bed and pillows, location was good The construction outside was a little noisy, but it wasn’t too bad.
