The location is wonderful, and the staff are very nice indeed. You are literally on the beach, the little garden is wonderful for reading and overlooking the cove, and the common areas are nice if a bit simple with some loving touches. Everything is kept very clean, and the staff does seem to take some pride in the place. Do not expect much service in English, but they do their very best and use Google Translate when needed. The breakfast is nice and set up in a lovely way, and the restaurant (when open!) holds a surprisingly high standard. The place markets itself as a four-star hotel, and it… well, it isn't. The rooms are OK but quite basic (no desk, basic bedding, a somewhat worn bathroom), so more something you'd expect in a two-star. Now, the view does help and if you're not too picky (we aren't), the overall vibe does overcome this, but it shouldn't be advertised as something it isn't. The rooms are called suites, but they are just basic rooms, and while there is the option to have four (!) beds, that would take up the entire room and leave almost no space for anything else. The fact that the locks are less secure than most bike-locks might scare the security conscious.

Great location and property The bed was very hard. Not enough room to put both futon beds out. I got a parking ticket out front where I was told I could park.
